I recently purchased an Accord from this dealership and my sales person Alex, and finace person Edwin were absolutely outstanding. No sales pressure, extremely knowledgable, responsive, delightful to work my sales person Alex, and finace person Edwin were absolutely outstanding. No sales pressure, extremely knowledgable, responsive, delightful to work with. It's tough to sell cars every day and both were focused, smart and extremely helpful I've always purchased my Hondas from Herb Chambers but after this experience will not go back to chambers and will always recommend Honda Village. Even after the purchase, I got a flat tire, and service helped me immediately and were very honest and efficient. Overall, these guys really seem to get how to handle a tough retail business and I was extremely impressed. I am confident going forward for service with Honda Village, i will get the same responsiveness and am grateful for that. Please make note of these gentlemen to the sales and service managers as I feel it's important for people to be recognized for their strengths. Susan Klapisch 37 Winchester Road Newtom, MA More
Based on my experience, it doesn't surprise me that this dealership has been caught submitting 12 fradulent reviews to make themselves look good on this website. I got the sense they will say or do anything dealership has been caught submitting 12 fradulent reviews to make themselves look good on this website. I got the sense they will say or do anything---truth be damnned. I was promised a price via email and when I went in, they totally reneged. Their excuses and arguments and sales pitches were juvenile. Imagine all of the negative stereotypes of a car salesman and you have a good description of Honda Village. I feel as if I have to take a shower just thinking about them. Yech. More
I purchased a Honda Pilot in February 2008 and we had a great experience. I dealt with Bob Levinson and it was a pleasure from start to finish. The dealership was very professional and they delivered wha great experience. I dealt with Bob Levinson and it was a pleasure from start to finish. The dealership was very professional and they delivered what was promised. I had some special requirements and requests before I purchased the vehicle and the sales department was very willing to accomodate them. I have lots of family and friends in the Newton/Boston area and I am going to recommend them to Honda Village. I feel as though this was a very unusual experience because I have had some not so pleasant encounters with OTHER dealerships. I will continue to service my truck at Honda Village and I will be sure to purchase my next vehicle from Bob Levinson. Thank you again! More
First I want to start of by saying the this was the best experience from top to bottom I have ever had. My salesperson Augusto new more about the Honda CRV than the people that built the car. He made the experience from top to bottom I have ever had. My salesperson Augusto new more about the Honda CRV than the people that built the car. He made the experience painless and easy. In the finance office I met a great guy named Joe Chang. He went over the various extra products with me. After some careful consideration and great explanation I went with the Extended Service Contract, the Road and Tire Warranty, Simonize, Door Ding and Guidepoint. Those products are great. I picked up my car and it was glimmering due to the Simonize. I go to bed at night know my CRV is protected with Guide Point. The Road and Tire came in great because after a week of owning the car I ran over and nail and my tire was replaced at NO cost!!!! Lastly when I came to pick up the car Augusto gave me a great lesson the car. From the navigation unit to even the spare tire he went over everything and answered everyone of my questions. After the Q&A the General Sales Manager himself came over to thank me. Bob seemed like a caring guy. It appeared like he was running around all day taking care of the customer in his dealership. Overall this was an amazing experience and I will be in the Honda Village family for a long time. Thank you Honda Village!! More
I purchased a Honda Civic Hybrid from this dealership and my girlfriend leased a Honda Fit from the same salesperson. We both had excellent experiences at the dealership and are planning to lease or purchase my girlfriend leased a Honda Fit from the same salesperson. We both had excellent experiences at the dealership and are planning to lease or purchase another Fit when the lease is up next year (oops, hope I didn't tip my hand there, LOL). We went to Honda Village because it was the closest to our house but after phone conversations with several other dealers we chose this one because they were very straight and up front about the process. I was very familiar with the cars we were planning to purchase but learned a few things from the salesman who made what could have been an unpleasant ordeal into a great buying experience. We have also been pleasantly suprised with their service department (oil changes have been the only thing necessary, don't you just love Hondas!)with Joe Panichella being our principal contact in that department. They have done everything necessary to earn our continued business! Keep up the good work guys! More
I wish that we saw theses reviews before we went to this dealership. I don't know how they are still in business. The sales people and their managers are rude. They lie to you. Be smart and DO NOT BUY FROM dealership. I don't know how they are still in business. The sales people and their managers are rude. They lie to you. Be smart and DO NOT BUY FROM HONDA VILLAGE. When they looked at the car we were trading in the tried to only give us half of what it was worth. More

I have been a loyal customer of Honda since 1995 and had the privilege of driving different models of Honda automobiles such as Honda Accord 1988, Honda Accord wagon 1997, and Honda Odyssey 2002. Based o the privilege of driving different models of Honda automobiles such as Honda Accord 1988, Honda Accord wagon 1997, and Honda Odyssey 2002. Based on a generally ‘beyond-the-mark’ quality of Honda automobiles and an exceptional customer service of different Honda dealerships in Indiana as well as in Massachusetts, I had placed a general query about buying a Honda Civic-Hybrid 2008 over internet on May 12, 2008. On May 14, 2008, I actually had an appointment with ‘Honda Village’ dealership in Newton MA to test-drive the vehicle and discuss the deal. My initial experience with the three sales personnel I met with there (Neil Grossman, Jason Flynn, and Anthony) was good. The initial color choices I had given to these sales personnel were either ‘Opal Silver Blue Metallic’ or ‘Galaxy Gray Metallic’. Also, I was informed that even though I mentioned certain color choices at the time of the deal, I could always change them later if that would be the outcome of my discussion with my spouse who was not present there. However, one of the sales personnel, Jason Flynn, came back saying that my color choices were not available for the price I was ready to negotiate. He told that I could either get ‘Alabaster Silver Metallic’ or ‘Magnetic Pearl’ colored vehicle for a lesser price they were offering (still higher than my offer) if I could finalize the deal right there. Also, he had a nerve to advise to me that for the price I was ready to offer (which was still above the base price of the vehicle after subtracting the invoice price and the Dealer Holdback), I should go with some other car and not a hybrid. At this point, I had to make it clear to him that I was in the market to buy a new hybrid car and nothing else. The bottom line is that, I was ready to make a deal on May 14, 2008 itself provided ‘Honda Village’ agreed to the price in writing and allowed me to change the color choices if the outcome of my discussion with my spouse about it was so. As this request was conveyed to the General Sales Manager of the dealership, Bob Levenson; he just furiously refused to go ahead with the sale, called me a ‘liar’, and asked me to get out of the dealership. All this rude treatment, because according to him, ‘I had wasted time of his sales personnel’. When I reminded him that this was not how a customer was to be treated at a Honda dealership, he once again ordered me to get out, '...out of my property.’ in his exact words. Further, when I told his subordinates about how rude his treatment to a customer was, Bob Levenson yelled at me that my words did not carry any value there and once again ordered that I get on the street at once. I have already filed a written complaint about this entire incident with Honda Automobiles. I just thought of bringing it to the attention of other buyers. This is certainly not the way a customer should be treated and is definitely not a Honda value. With this devastating experience, I would definitely rethink before setting my foot into ANY Honda dealership or even recommending a Honda vehicle to anyone else. More
