Reached out with regard to an instock vehicle. Was quoted $10,000 over msrp via text by salesman Joshua Fink. Upon declining and referencing realistic quotes from competing dealerships Mr. Fink was i quoted $10,000 over msrp via text by salesman Joshua Fink. Upon declining and referencing realistic quotes from competing dealerships Mr. Fink was immediately deceptive, confrontational, insulting and boasted of other large markups the dealership had taken from willing customers. A salesman that starts with outright lies and ends with insults does not represent Honda Usa or Honda Village of Newton well. More
This is our second lease with Honda Village and both times we left, we said to ourselves 'this is too easy!". Manny Zabatta was our sales rep this time and he was fabulous. Most of the times changing my oil it'll take about an hour or two but this time it took almost 6 hours. They always asked me if I wanted to change my tires but keep in mind, I just bought it about two ye hour or two but this time it took almost 6 hours. They always asked me if I wanted to change my tires but keep in mind, I just bought it about two years ago so it's still pretty new. Today I spend 6 hours in the village and asked them plenty of times when my car was going to be done, they always replied with "It'll take 3-4 hours". ALWAYS THAT ANSWER UNTIL IT ALREADY TOOK 6 HOURS. They wouldn't let me talk and say why I needed the car to be done faster, instead the guy just continued to blab his words out and giving me attitude which was not very friendly. More

website.I looked at the interiors of the car and it website. I looked at the interiors of the car and it looked pretty "used". But I didn't make much of it. I then inspected the vehicle and realized there were cracks and dents on the bumper. Additionally, and more importantly, the air conditioner wasn't working. I raised these issues with the salesman and was assured they were very minor and that they'd be fixed. I was also told I'd need to pay an additional amount for "Certified Pre Owned warranty charge". I decided to pay a 500$ deposit which I was assured was refundable. I looked further into the AC issue and realized that it was actually fairly major and needed a factory part replacement. I got suspicious that this issue wasn't identified and fixed in a supposedly certified pre-owned vehicle. I contacted Honda America and they informed me the vehicle in question wasn't certified pre-owned at all. I realized the vehicle was falsely advertised and it was basically just an un-inspected used car which they were selling at a premium leveraging the CPO program. They were probably intending to sell the CPO as a purchasable warranty without actually doing any of the mandated inspections. When I said I wanted to cancel the transaction and asked for a refund, they refused to return the deposit. If you're considering purchasing a "Certified Pre-Owned" used car here, think really carefully about what you're getting yourself into. Pros: the dealership was in a locality full of trees and was very very shady More
They are thief They make mistakes and don't take responsibility for it. They charge 3 times more on the parts than the original price is. They said they use original They make mistakes and don't take responsibility for it. They charge 3 times more on the parts than the original price is. They said they use original parts but they are after market cheap parts. They don't do what they say they will do if it is a free service. They push your car forward until out of warranty so when it starts breaking down they over charge. I got my a/c serviced during march (or at least they said they did) and now my compressor is dead because freon level was half pressure of what was supposed to be. It is apparent they did not service my a/c and they won't take responsibility for it. I changed my breaking pads there and after that my emergency break stopped working, being busy and with COVID 19 situation couldn't take my car back right away. They didn't take responsibility, charged me 1300$ for calipers. They said " you didn't use your car enough and it got rusted in a month, there is no fix we need to change them completely with the breaking pads again". How can i use a part that wasn't working to begin with? Also they said one day job, but it took them three days to finish the job.these are two of the really bad experiences i have had with them. I can list and it will never end. Never going back. Reported them to Honda. And not happy shopping my car there and getting my service done there up to this point. If i could give them zero star I would've. More
Won't be Back I won't be back. Recently lease a Pilot from this dealership, and I will not be back. My wife works on the front lines of our local Emergency Room, wo I won't be back. Recently lease a Pilot from this dealership, and I will not be back. My wife works on the front lines of our local Emergency Room, working overnights admitting and registering every person that walks in the door. During negotiations I was asked if anyone in the household was a healthcare worker, and of course I said yes. After we came to an agreement and sent them a copy of my wife’s hospital badge, I was told 2 days later that she may not qualify but was still up in the air. I specifically told them to keep me posted. The next day I received a call from their Finance Manager who was going through and trying to sell me additional products. During that conversation he stated, “we know Honda does recognize your wife as a Healthcare worker, but we at the dealership do.” After he said this, I thought we were good to go, and the dealership would be taking care of the $500. I even asked what I needed to bring the dealership and all he said was my trade, title, and registration. I get to the dealership and the same Finance Manager is having us sign the paperwork, and he pointed out the $500 on a cash at delivery amount and stated, “this is for the healthcare worker discount.” Again, thinking the dealership was taking care of it. After all paperwork was signed, and they told me they are going to go get me the keys, he tells me they need the $500. I was totally caught off guard. There was clearly a miscommunication, and lack of communication from the dealership regarding this. The Finance Manager and the Sales Manager did absolutely nothing to try and fix the situation. The Manager wouldn’t even come out and talk to me. More
