BUYER BEWARE!!!Holiday World Katy has provided the BUYER BEWARE!!! Holiday World Katy has provided the utmost in terrible service we could ever have expected. Spent over $300,000 on a NEW 2021 Dynama BUYER BEWARE!!! Holiday World Katy has provided the utmost in terrible service we could ever have expected. Spent over $300,000 on a NEW 2021 Dynamax. At delivery, we find 9+ issues that should’ve been identified during make ready. Told all would be corrected in 2-3 days, so we decline delivery. Over a week in shop, Holiday World corrected only a few of the issues and advised necessary parts were ordered. Had also purchased tow vehicle breaking system and traveled over 5 hours to bring tow vehicle needed for install. Three days later, no return calls so I go to dealer and was told Holiday World did not have the necessary parts to complete install of the tow system and would be at least a week before available. Since remaining issues were minor, except for tow system, we take delivery anyway just to get some experience with the rig. Less than 120 miles, breaks locking up, smoking heavily from both rear axles and fault codes on dash. Called Holiday World and was told I will need to take rig to Freightliner for repair. Austin was closest Freightliner shop, so was taken there. One week in the shop, Freightliner repairs breaks and replaces bulkhead wiring harnesses. Meanwhile, Holiday World service department will not return calls on status of parts and most importantly, the breaking system components. We do however, gain update communications from sales person, Chris Allen, who is also at a loss in explaining why service department is non-respondent or helpful. Day 19 after purchasing the rig without a single day of pleasure yet, I returned the rig to Holiday World to complete the tow system and warranty issues, found upon delivery. Was told by Service Supervisor, all would be complete in 2-3 days. Day 3 attempts to call receives no answer or return call from service supervisor. Again, contacted Chris in sales and was told the rig should be complete the next day (Saturday) and should hear back from service. Again, service fails to make contact so Monday Chris explains rig will be ready that day. After 5 days, tow system install is complete and told the warranty issues, except for one replacement light, were also complete. This was not true, the on board Fire control panel/network was still not working correctly, cargo lighting system, etc. also outstanding. Even to this day, almost 3 months after purchase, no return calls or updates from Service Department. A few weeks following purchase, we receive a survey request from Holiday World. Respond to the survey, raising the issues and terrible experience. Sales person, Chris Allen, suggested management would certainly respond. Three months later, no response. Chris is the only person in this company that appears to be trying to help. Now contemplating direction forward in dealing with this pathetic company. More
Service department is terrible. Told them about a water leak on the walk through and it still isn’t fixed after 2 tries. Now they want us to pull the RV back 60 miles so they can try to fix it for the thir leak on the walk through and it still isn’t fixed after 2 tries. Horrible service experience after just buying the unit from them. Service had me make an appointment and then didn’t even look at my unit for 3 weeks. The only reason I give them two stars is because our salesman tried to help with issues after the sale. Where do I begin, the walk through at pick up was done by a very nice young man who had no knowledge of our specific unit, only general knowledge of rvs. Our owners manual was placed in a plastic bag with extra Keyes, remotes, etc and sealed up with clear packaging tape and just handed to us with no explanations as we were ushered out of the finance office. We were not informed of any upgrades on the home at the time of purchase or during the after sale walk through. We discovered the Winegard system three weeks later as we were getting ready for our first road trip ( TX to PA). Even with professional computer tech assistance we have been unable to purchase a data plan and use the internet while traveling. Our owners manual had a flash drive included which we cannot access since our computer is 20 years old and does not read the flash drive. Would have been nice if someone from Holiday World had mentioned it at some point. The night before our first trip the RV door would no shut and discovered the screws in the door latch assembly had never been tightened and the striker bolts had slipped and would not let the door close. Had to get our son-in-law out of bed to fix it. Noticed when we first looked at the motor home that the generator sounded really loud. Found there was no oil in it at the 20 hour oil change. Took it to diesel mechanic and he felt the generator was defective when it was installed. His opinion is the generator is ruined and needs to be replaced. Received a recall on the MBUX multimedia system that was originally issued on 2019 - 2021 Sprinter chassis. Needless to say, Holiday World did not have the issue addressed before delivering the unit to us. Our motor home is at the Mercedes service center for the second time in 2 weeks trying to get the problem resolved. I am convinced the Holiday World service center never even attempted a make ready service on this unit since we have found 5 other minor but very noticeable problems that need to be addressed. The last 4 calls we made to the service dept. have been sent to voice mail with no call back. More

Just wanted to give a heads-ups to everyone and those you might know who Hello All, HOLIDAY WORLD DOES NOT HONOR THEIR SALES PRICE ON OUR CONTRACT. Just wanted to give a heads-ups to everyone and those you might know who are looking to order an RV. We ordered a 5er from Holiday World at the end of March 2021. We waited 4 months with the excitement growing every day. NOT one time during the 4 month wait did anyone at Holiday World call us with an update of any kind proactively. Then I got word my unit would be delivered the last part of July. A few days before we were scheduled to pick it up I got my first proactive call from Holiday World. Unfortunately it was call from the sales manager telling me that the price was going to be raised regardless of the contract we had about $10,000! No calls for 4 months and then this. I asked to speak with a supervisor who gave me the same song and dance, pay $10,000 more than we agreed to or we will refund your deposit and you can get lost. I asked to speak to another level up the food chain and after a few days the OWNER called. He agreed we had a contract but basically said take it or leave it. HE didn't care. Buy it or take a hike. We were over a barrel, having sold our house and needing to move into our 5er (or live with my kids). We felt we had no good choice and moved forward with the purchase. We did take a whole weekend and tried to find a comparable 5er just to walk away but none were available. BOTTOM LINE ~ DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HOLIDAY WORLD!! More
I bought a 2021 Keystone in January. People were very nice at Katy location. The whole time during buying I always said that I was living in this rv full time. I have enjoyed downsizing my lifestyle. Called the next day to get appointment for repair. They tell me the earliest appointment is 4 weeks out. Appointment is made for a Friday, while asking questions about this, I find out my trailer will sit for weekend with no work until Monday. They will not plug to electricity during this time. Not happy that my stuff will be stuck in Texas heat all weekend. Then had to cancel appointment because too much rain and can not move trailer. So I have to wait another 4 weeks for new appointment and reminding them I live in rv with roof leaking. Still not able to move rv because of rain again. They refuse to try to work something out. They give me number of rv service that might help me out. If I use this service I have to pay out of pocket for repairs. This should be warranty work. Holiday will not reimburse for repairs. Never did they tell me they are only ones to do repair when buying. They even got me to buy insurance if anything goes wrong someone will come to you to fix wherever you are. That's xx. Holiday does not make any repairs to be easy. If I was to do this again I would not use them. More
#holidayworldofleaguecity A great friend of mine had bought a 33 ft trailer there and was awaiting pickup and as the driver arrived to pick it up he noticed they had wrecked it and was doing repairs. th bought a 33 ft trailer there and was awaiting pickup and as the driver arrived to pick it up he noticed they had wrecked it and was doing repairs. they were going to fix it and not let my friends know.. a wrecked rvs value will drop by thousands as soon as they would have driven off the lot.. when they got to the #holidayworld and going to take pictures to get a 3rd party to verify conditionof trailer they met with a staff not willing to help by giving information , rude and mangement arueing with the customer as well as the maint supervisor become threatning. worst customer service ever. the customer whos 69yr old mother is dishing out all this money she just told by several managers if she took it they would compensate her by giving her a 1000 dollar gift card. well the value of the trailer already dropped by thosands because of the wreck and possible damage to shell of trailer. if it leaks its ruined. so she wanted a new one which they said they could do but wouldny compensate for all the loses of her having to hire a driver to pull the trailer and the setup costs.... I told her they should a compensate for all expenses and free delivery which would have been significate. she only wants her loss in a gift card $1000 and free delivery but thyey wont even do that...I keep pushing for at least that but now holiday world will only talk to her 69 yr old mom who is unsure about things, I have never done this before because I work retail but I hate to see people screwed. oh ill share what they had to go thru to buy it the first time with my next update,,,,, scary people there I wouldn't trust league city #holidayworld sketchy sales and management More
