Service after the sale I purchased a new motor home at holiday world. I scheduled my annual service three months in advance I called again to confirm two weeks prior to arriving since I live 7 hours away. (I know another story). When I got there it was a surprise to them. They “worked” me in. It took several days. They listed everything done. They missed several things required by the manufacture. They didn’t do the two recalls. They said they serviced the batteries. After I got back home I went out and pulled the battery tray out. They had thick green corrosion with white scale on all the connections. The batteries were low. I cleaned them and topped them off with water. The next day I tested them with a hydrometer and the batteries were good. They didn’t service the generator air filter. While I was at there site they said I could stay at their onsite camping spots. When I hooked up the power my rv wouldn’t power up. The panel said reverse polarity. I tried four spaces. They all said the same thing. More
Excellent Sales - Knowledgeable Service We purchased a gently used 5th wheel from Holiday World of Katy. I found the listing for the 5th wheel online and emailed questions. With in 15 minut We purchased a gently used 5th wheel from Holiday World of Katy. I found the listing for the 5th wheel online and emailed questions. With in 15 minutes I was contacted by S. Sellers with the internet department. He emailed me pictures that described the rv listing all of the blemishes and features.(It was a used camper, it will have blemishes.) We drove 4 hours to see the camper and it was exactly what he described. We purchased the camper and agreed Holiday World would fix some of the blemishes and make sure it was in good working condition. I had several questions and request while the service department worked on the camper. S. Sellers was excellent at communicating and completing all of our request. He is an excellent salesman who went the extra mile for us. When we arrived to pick up the camper and the service was excellent. Josh did a great job of completing our walk-through and took care of all of the details. S. Sellers recommended we stayed the night at the dealership campground to make sure everything was working. We did have a problem with the refrigerator. Saturday morning we went and explained the refrigerator was not working. Within 10 minutes 2 service guys were at the camper and fixed the problem. I cannot say enough good about how friendly, detailed, and knowledgeable the service department was at Holiday World. This is not our first camper and we have dealt with other dealerships. Our purchase was a used rv and we were treated like we purchased a class A motor coach. We will recommend others to this dealership. More

Service sucks I could start from the extremely rude and dishonest finance guy that we dealt with briefly when we purchased before just paying for our trailer throug I could start from the extremely rude and dishonest finance guy that we dealt with briefly when we purchased before just paying for our trailer through our bank but I will move to service. We dropped our trailer off in December and we're continually lied to about what had and had not been done. I was told more than once it was done and after questioning about multiple things I figured out it was not done. Then I was told it was ready and the thing that was not done was my problem to deal with Keystone about even though it was a brand new trailer and under warranty. I did not accept that and told them to fix everything. In late March or April I was told to go ahead and pick it up since it was rv season, and I could bring back. I laughed and said no you need to fix it. I was then passed to another service person since the one I had got fired or something. After going round and round and then no return calls I showed up in person and asked to speak to the owner or GM. He was there and actually walked right by my wife and I at one point. The girl at front was texting him while I was talking to her and told me not to go talk to him he would come find us in waiting area when he was done doing whatever he was doing. After waiting for a bit he sent our original sales guy to talk to us. You would think after explaining we were pissed off and our brand new trailer had been there for 7 months the owner or GM would take the time to personally introduce himself and hear part of what had been going on and then introduce us to the service manager. Maybe even take an interest in such a cluster #%*^ and make sure it is fixed. That is not how this place runs. we finally spoke to the service manger who said he would take a personal interest to get it done and have our trailer detailed since they had it for 8 months......went to pick up and it was filthy, including water being left in ice tray from them fixing water line months ago and it stunk very bad. It was obvious my service person hadn't even looked at it and since he was busy or at lunch another person went to go through it with me and got pissed about the ball being dropped and had it pulled back to the shop so someone could actually check it out and then have detailed. I was supposed to get a call when done and ready, that same afternoon my service adviser called and said he hoped it would be ready the next day and would call when done. Call never came but when I called the next week they said it was ready and to let them know when I was going to pick up. I called the day before picking up and told him I would get it at 11am the next day. Of course it was not pulled up and ready for pick up until after I got there. There is actually more but I am tired of wasting time typing this, just hope to convince somebody thinking about doing business with them to somewhere else. More

I have had my Keystone Springdale for about 8 mont I highly discourage anyone from doing business with Holiday World, the Katy location in particular. I have had my Keystone Springdale for about 8 months. it is nothing but problems, especially the air conditioning. it has been in for service three times for the air conditioning and a variety of other leaks and defective parts. Every time it goes in for service, it takes several weeks to get the service completed. This time, I booked the service two months in advance. It has been at the location for four days and they have not even touch it yet! The last time it was in, they bent the tong jack and it had a huge nail in the tire when I picked it up. The long and short of it is the Keystone products are junk and the service after the sale is deplorable. More
