Although we always try to meet or exceed customer expectations, we have obviously failed to do our part in this instance. Our personnel had good intentions of providing a positive customer experience for you, but we fell short of your expectations of having a bulb in stock for a different manufacturer than what we sell/supply parts for. We could have certainly done a better job of communication to not only you the customer, but also within our own parts department. Ultimately, we will be able to use this failure as a learning experience and have already enhanced our process for situations when parts consultants are on lunch break.
