Hennessy Honda sold me a car in February that they didn’t have the title to and four months later I’m making payments on a car I don’t even own! I’ve had to go back to the tag office twice to extend my “tag have the title to and four months later I’m making payments on a car I don’t even own! I’ve had to go back to the tag office twice to extend my “tag applied for” and I’m now driving around with a dealership tag which isn’t even technically legal. Avery Hoexter, Kyle Godfrey and Damian Seard all refuse to return my calls. The only time I’ve gotten a response is by threatening litigation. I’ve left over five messages for Damian in the last 3 weeks — met with silence. Be sure to expect a terrible experience and possible fraud if you shop here. More
I went in to get advise on where to get my wife's HRV repaired after an accident last week. I could not have asked for a more helpful person than Ms. Sarah Billot. Took extra key in to be programmed by them. Car worked great before then. What should’ve been a simple service turned out to be over a two hour ordeal.. the key we had programmed does not wor Car worked great before then. What should’ve been a simple service turned out to be over a two hour ordeal.. the key we had programmed does not work right nor does the original one we already had (which was working before service like it should) Car will not lock and unlock correctly. When we called to inquire they told us it was another problem and they could charge us for another service visit. If this was case - why were we not informed before leaving when service was originally completed for prgramming key?. What about standing behind the $200 service we just paid for and waited and waited on to be completed? Would not recommend this dealership. More
I recently started taking my 2019 Honda Accord Sport there since I was new to the area. My initial visit was pretty good and I had no problems. However, there was two recalls for my model and for WEEKS there since I was new to the area. My initial visit was pretty good and I had no problems. However, there was two recalls for my model and for WEEKS they called me about coming in and I do, in addition to getting an oil change and tire rotation. They recommended that i get a transmission flush as well, but i declined since they quoted me $400 for it. They give me a loaner which was super sweet, however when i received my car back, there was a random auto part in my backseat as well as a pack of gatorades that was in my was missing. In addition to all of that, on the same day i got my car back, it now stutters when i turn it on for the first time ( it wasn’t doing that prior to my service) and my tired were making a weird sound. Now, i would not be making this review if when i have tried to reach them, almost for a week now to notify them of what’s going on with my car they contacted me back. I have gotten the run around every single time i called. As i stated earlier, for WEEKS they called me asking me to come in for my recall and now suddenly i am unable to get a hold of them. Very disappointed. I’m not sure if this is something they do to all young women who come in for service but it’s unacceptable. Initially they were sweet and welcoming but not so much anymore. More
We bought our 2020 civic from here and outgrew it faster than planned. We had a good experience the first time, so of course we wanted to do repeat business. Needless to say it was a different experience. T than planned. We had a good experience the first time, so of course we wanted to do repeat business. Needless to say it was a different experience. The appraiser gave our car a value $2k less than the blue book, and they were not interested in our trade. The vehicle we wanted we had researched online. The SUV was much higher than the base MSRP we had seen online. We were also shocked that there were no discounts or sales, that the vehicle would be sold at the full $30k MSRP. As if that wasn’t bad enough, we were expected to roll our negative equity into the new vehicle. No one showed us used options or tried to work with us and our budget. Interestingly, prior to going to Honda, we gave the Kia dealership a try. We had never worked with them before, but they were more than willing to help us out by erasing the negative equity in the Honda and put us in something better. We decided to wait regardless but it definitely proved to my husband and I that repeat business doesn’t mean much to this dealership. They got us stuck in a car we over paid for because it’s a base model. We will continue to explore our options and hopefully find someone who wants our business and wants to work with our budget. Very disappointed with how the tables turned from our first experience to this one. More
Called to purchase a new vehicle because they have the color my wife wanted. I asked the price and the salesperson said I have to ask a manager. Why would you have to ask a manager? Because they add a color my wife wanted. I asked the price and the salesperson said I have to ask a manager. Why would you have to ask a manager? Because they add a surcharge over the MSRP. The vehicle was 5K more at this dealership over everyone else. I checked online and found the color my wife wanted elsewhere. Next week I will be driving 3 hours to buy a vehicle. I would not recommend anyone purchase from a dealership who tacks on additional prices when every other dealership is not. More
This dealership does not honor prices shown on their website, in fact the prices shown for a used car also has an addendum that is not shown in there documents. Called a sales person and spoke with the website, in fact the prices shown for a used car also has an addendum that is not shown in there documents. Called a sales person and spoke with them and set up a time met with them about the specific car then set down to do the deal and that is when the additional $2,500 plus was disclosed. This appears to be a bait and switch to get you in the door then to be told this is not the price for a used car. For this to be a large dealership it is surprising that this happens and is tolerated. I understand that car prices have increased, but treating customers unfairly should not be tolerated. I hope this is investigated by the authorities and also addressed by the owners of Hennessy. More
We walked in, ready to purchase an advertised used car. When it came time to buy, they brought me a price 6k over their advertised price. They added this ridiculous markup for a dash cam, window tint, and dealer fees. I agreed to pay the advertised price for the car, as well as their dealership fees, plus tax tag and title. They would not sell it to us “at this kind of discount”…what a joke! The sales guy had the nerve to tell us “all the other dealers do it too” when I said we would not be buying a car where thousands of dollars of unadvertised marked up fees were added. More
