Took my Outback in for a recall and routine maintenance. Upon arrival I was quickly acknowledged by the Service Advisor and was checked in promptly. In town for husband’s stem cell transplant when my car started making a noise. He couldn’t hear it, but I’m the one who drives it, so I know how it’s supposed to sound. He told me to take it to the Subaru started making a noise. He couldn’t hear it, but I’m the one who drives it, so I know how it’s supposed to sound. He told me to take it to the Subaru dealership across the street from the hotel to have it looked at, and it was the wheel bearings, which were under the extended warranty, so there was only the deductible to pay for that. They checked out the rest of the car and I needed new rear brakes(I have 96k miles on it...no surprise) and a new battery, as the original one was testing bad, so I told them to go ahead and fix it all up. Last thing I need in the middle of his medical stuff is car troubles in a strange town. They fixed it right then and there, no appointment. Kayla McKibban, my service writer, checked on me and kept me posted. She also found a $100 coupon to apply towards the repairs, which really helped a lot. I was super pleased with the experience.
