Since we have owned several Honda's before and were very happy, we wanted to replace it with another Honda. After visiting several dealerships, we decided on Hendrick Honda, Pompano Beach. Our salesman, Kashif Chughtai, was extremely friendly and professional, and if he needed to check on something, he brought one of the managers, Chuck Siman, to speak to us. We felt very much at ease, which was very important to us, by being from out of town. I would recommend the salesman Kashif , to anyone looking for a new Honda car. Nella More

This purchase was my second Honda Civic in 7 years - I had the 2007 Civic EX before, but was finally ready for a newer model. Michael was very attentive to what I needed in a car and helped me get the deal that I was looking for. He stayed with me, even after the dealership closed, to show me how to work the bluetooth and other functions in my new car. Michael also helped me the following day with a few questions about the car and recommended the oil change service, which is great and convenient! Overall, he was a great sales associate and gave me top notch service. I wouldn't hesitate coming back to him again for a third Honda or recommending him to my friends. More

He did a fantastic job of guiding me through the entire process, and unlike most salesmen who only seem to care about money, he was very patient and courteous. I believe that my overall experience at hendrick honda was due in large part to Mr. Williams' professionalism and politeness. I would recommend hendrick honda and insist that anyone who reads this review ask for Mr. Williams by name. More

In November 2013, I was shopping for a new minivan to replace our '00 Dodge Grand Caravan. When my family and I settled on Honda Odyssey, the next piece of work was to get dealer quotes for an out-the-do replace our '00 Dodge Grand Caravan. When my family and I settled on Honda Odyssey, the next piece of work was to get dealer quotes for an out-the-door cost of a 2014 Odyssey. The folks at Hendrick sent me a low out-the-door quote, very low...for a 2013 they had on their lot. I didn't notice that at first until I started comparing dealer quotes more closely, and then I realized the mistake. But that mistake actually worked out -- in the end, I wound up buying a 2013 close-out Odyssey EX-L for about the same price as just an EX in the 2014 line-up. I made two visit to this dealership, the second time to test-drive the 2013 Odyssey EX-L. The salesman I worked with was very nice, though I found it interesting that on my second visit he was trying to steer me to a 2014 model (though he said he got the same commission either way). Since I'd asked for an out-the-door quote, I had a specific dollar amount I expected to pay for the vehicle, including tax, title, other FL fees, and the dealer fee (tag would be new and wasn't quoted). When it came down to the purchase, though, they presented me with $800 of dealer add-on fees for things like tint (on front row side windows), mudflaps, wheel locks, storage liner, pinstriping. I refused to pay; I wanted the out-the-door price, since the other costs weren't previously disclosed (what else does out-the-door mean other than the bottom-line amount you'll pay?). Eventually, they agreed to give me all the dealer-installed stuff except the storage liner for $100. I said if they were willing to include the storage liner, too, I'd give them a 5-star review; they wouldn't do it, so there's that. The other rub occurred when, before I agreed to buy the vehicle, I wanted to know I'd qualify for certain financing terms based on excellent credit. I don't know what happened wrongly, but my salesman met with the finance guy and came back to say I'd qualify for the rate I expected to pay. Later, though, it came to light that the financing I expected wasn't available through Honda for the 2013 models, only 2014. That meant I would pay more for the loan that I'd expected to pay. I was unhappy (angry, actually) this didn't come to light until we were half-way through the purchase process, and I'd already brought my wife down to see the vehicle. The financing issue did get partially resolved when the dealer basically subsidized a portion of the interest rate because I was willing to buy an extended warranty from them, too. That made the financing equal to what I would have gotten with a 2014 model purchase, but not as good as some financing deals offered on other 2013 Honda models. In the end, all the people I worked with were pleasant and professional. Everyone wished the mistake with the financing terms hadn't been made the way it did. But the upside for me is that the 2013 purchase price was very, very good so even though I wasn't getting quite the deal I expected to receive on the financing, the overall selling price was very good and the overall value exchange was favorable for someone who didn't have to have the latest functions found on the 2014 Odyssey. Would I do business with Hendrick Honda again? Yes, but I'd still shop around other nearby Honda dealerships, too. More
