I'm a big fan of the Silver-Era Honda/Acura cars and when this Unicorn (1 owner, low mileage, all vins, service history) came in I knew I had to have it. Bill was accommodating and made the transaction simple and pleasurable. Want to know what REALLY impressed me though? I was essentially purchasing the cheapest cars on the lot (it was parked next to a $60,000 SUV) and the way I was treated was as if I was purchasing a new A-Spec RDX. That is integrity & Character. In the next year when we offload our "family" Suv, we will bring our business to Bill & Hendrick Acura Southpoint. We are a Honda/Acura family! More

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned Acura from them and was having some unexpected brake issues. I dreadfully took the car in, expecting to hear about buying a used car and how brakes weren't warrantied. Instead, the service department went with me on a test drive to hear the issue, agreed that it shouldn't have been sold that way and worked with the sales department to make it right without cost to me. Very efficient, responsive and fair. I'm a fan. More

Both George C. and Aaron M. were nice enough to sit down with me to let me know that I had made a good decision with my purchase. They provided me with a few minor things that I should consider fixing soon. Both guys went above and beyond to ensure that I had the best experience. I will forever recommend Acura Southpoint to anyone who is in the market to have their car service or even to purchase. The dealership as a whole is wonderful. More
Updated for Quick Resolution By Acura Service Dept Updated 23Jul2019: On the afternoon of 22Jul2019, I was in contact with the Acura service manager. He asked that I explain the situation to him whe Updated 23Jul2019: On the afternoon of 22Jul2019, I was in contact with the Acura service manager. He asked that I explain the situation to him where it was immediately evident that the Service Department was not who I was dealing with directly when trying to schedule the service. It was in fact a scheduler (and supervisor) who did not know Acura's policies about what type of work constitutes the definition of service. The service manager apologized and more than made amends for the interaction I experienced. The immediate follow-up and resolution by the service manager at Acura to this situation was such that I wanted to edit this review for the dealership. Lesson learned here is, when scheduling this service, contact Acura service department directly. Thanks George Christon for the awesome customer service! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yesterday afternoon (18Jul2019) I called to schedule a B12 Maintenance and a full interior/exterior detail; a common set of services I get at the hendrick acura dealership at which I drop my 2018 tlx off as soon as the service department opens and pick it up at the end of the day. I have been able to get this 8+ hours of service with a loaner vehicle that I am given just for the day. It should be noted that I have not taken the car else where for any service and have been a loyal patron of the dealership. However, today and the last time I scheduled the same service mentioned above, the service department mentions that they cannot give me a loaner due to a loosely enforced policy on loaners being available only to customers with mechanical issues that need more than 6+ hours of work to be done. After the initial service scheduler transferred me to a supervisor, he also said the same but could not explain why the loaners were only available to customers that had broken down cars and not to me when I am getting 8+ hours of service; keep in mind that I am paying upwards of $400 to get all this done at the dealership. This is mind boggling for the following: 1. I always have brought my car for this and all service to this dealership since before the move to southpoint and I have gotten a loaner at each appointment. 2. The first time I asked about the detail service over the phone I was told first that loaners are not available for this service and then asked in person, at which point I was told that loaners are available for that service as it takes all day. 3. I cannot for the life of me understand why a detail service along with a routine service that takes all day and costs that much needs a discussion every time about why I need a loaner for work for the day. BMW, Lexus and Audi all do this as a courtesy. Moreover, other local detail services providers loan cars as a courtesy, no questions asked. 4. I am scheduling all this way in advance to accommodate scheduling with the service department and detail department; not sure why a loaner can also not be appropriately accommodated for an all day job that doesn't require something drastic. As I mentioned, the routine maintenance and detail service that include courtesy services can be done elsewhere for much cheaper. I only bought the car there with the intention of establishing a relationship with a local dealer; a relationship wherein I would service my vehicle without feeling like I am pulling teeth to schedule something easy way in advance. I am sure a loss of business of one car at a rate of $500 per 10000 miles reached is not a scratch in the revenue for hendrick but I thought I would air my grievances here as I take my service needs else where. I have rated this dealership positively before when I bought the car but since then it’s been downhill. More

Personable buying experience We came in to look at a specific car in the certified preowned stock that we had seen online. Edgar was very friendly and helpful. The car we had requested to see was pulled up front with our name on the dash. My wife and I were both able to test drive the car on the highway and country roads. Edgar helped us make a comparison to a different car on the lot. The buying process was typically long, but everybody was very friendly and there was a nice snack bar and waiting area, while we were waiting for the finance person to complete the deal. More
