Review of my experience at Orlando Kia East Upon arrival, at 10:35AM, I was immediately approached by a sales consultant which was nice to see. He was well versed and knowledgeable with Kia Upon arrival, at 10:35AM, I was immediately approached by a sales consultant which was nice to see. He was well versed and knowledgeable with Kia and their product. Fortunately I saved some time with homework of my own with the interest in make/model/sub-model (figuring this will expedite the process quicker). The sales consultant spent a fair amount of time going over every little feature and square inch of the Optima I my eye on. It was considerate of him to do such however, the annoyance was that he was going over features that my current car already had installed. I took this as though he only knows cars on the Kia lot and nothing outside of the dealership training manual. After the once around on the vehicle, we went for a spin; it drove extremely smooth though they had it sitting in the lot with no gasoline in the tank so I was afraid the whole time we were going to break down on the side of the road. Fortunately we got back but I never really hit the acceleration pedal nor did I want to. We got back and discussed numbers. I wanted to use my current car as a trade-in and act as the down-payment. The sales consultant came back with an offer and the manager's approximate estimate insulted me greatly by offering the worst trade-in value for a vehicle that literally looked like it stepped off the auto lot. Fortunately again, I did research on my car's value as well as visited another Kia dealership to work off price points; we were able to negotiate somewhat into a better ballpark. This process took quite some time and we reached an agreement, shook on it, and literally rang a gong to "seal the deal." While information was processed, car insurance was transferred, and I dealt with finance, they took the Kia Optima in the back to clean and prepare it for me. The sales consultant lost the Kia car keys during this time frame and had me check my belongings THREE times because he misplaced them. This was extremely annoying as I emptied and shuffled through my personal bag on a table though I knew I never touched the Kia key while I was signing paperwork. At the end of the day (literally), I removed the final items from my old car and moved all my stuff into the new Kia. The sales consultant had me walk around the car to make sure it was "spotless" and clean to my standard. After their staffed cleaned it, it was far from spotless and the car was covered in water droplets, irrigation water stains, and scuff marks (some being inside the car). He had to send out the detailer to clean it AGAIN as I pointed out all my concerns. Once I agreed the car looked okay, we finalized the last of the paperwork and I was on my way. My overall experience was lengthy, tiresome, and the day just drug on. As stated at the beginning of this diatribe, I arrived at 10:35AM and finally drove off the lot at 6:15PM starving for lunch (or dinner) and exhausted. The main benefit: the staff was very nice and made the time spent as comfortable as it potentially could have. The sales staff, management, and serviceman (even ones I did not work with directly) all had smiles on and were all very nice and welcoming. It was great to see that my business was important to them. I WOULD recommend Orlando Kia East to anyone; just make sure to bring food with you. FYI, six days after purchase, I have done a full wash and detail on the car and I can truly say it "looks better than the day I bought it." More

Never again will I walk in Orlando Kia East So I went to go get a new car. Come to find out I owe more than my car is worth. Ok no problem I've been in the business I knew that may of happened. So I went to go get a new car. Come to find out I owe more than my car is worth. Ok no problem I've been in the business I knew that may of happened. They pulled my credit which I told them was in the high 7's. Worked really hard to get there. But when the managers tells me I could buy another car and keep mine I asked what they meant. And they said I can get the car I like and keep mine cause my credit would cover it. I asked what do I do with my car cause I can't afford 2 cars not 1 but 2 managers told me to give it back to the bank! WHAT that would ruin my credit I said. No with your score it will go down a little and with the new car it would go back up. Now I was in the business for a while never got to a manager level but I don't think that's right. Please be careful if they try to pull this on you cause I spoke to my bank and its not true, They deal with my bank and they said they would handle it for me not to worry and sent me to a dealer that they work with and I got my new Optima thanks to my bank rep. "BUYER BEWARE" By the way they sent me to Deland to get my car great service! :) And they give me what I owed on my car and they said Orlando Kia was trying to steal my car. I guess times have changed cause my family sent me there and when I told them what happened they said it use to be great service but people have come and gone. They won't be going to Orlando Kia East anymore either. More

At last we finalized the deal and walked out with what we wanted (2014 Sorento Xls).
