Stopped in to test drive and get a price estimate on a new Xterra or a certified pre-owned. We were impressed as Marc had given us immediate attention, which most dealerships (I guess because we look youn new Xterra or a certified pre-owned. We were impressed as Marc had given us immediate attention, which most dealerships (I guess because we look young) don't give us the time of day. So that was a great way to start off. For the time we dealt with Marc he was good, he was friendly and seemed like he did want to try to work with us. He did not seem to knowledgeable about the Xterra but very knowledgeable about the other Nissan vehicles. We worked out some numbers on our first visit with him and Sal, and one downside was before they even saw our car for trade in value, they gave us what WE said Kelly blue book said we could get for it. Which I would think before you give someone a price you would want to see the car that's being traded in? Anyway...the number they were coming up with per month was a little high for us and we needed to figure out our expenses before we can commit, I also wanted them to see the car for a real appraisal so we decided to think it over and return a few days later. Our return visit is where everything went down hill, we waited for about an hour before Stacy could appraise our car. One hour wait for a 5 minute appraisal, awesome! Once she appraised the car we sat and waited more because the numbers she was coming up with were way higher than the numbers we were given from Marc and Sal on our first visit. Oddly neither her nor Marc knew how the previous number was reached! So as Stacy is trying to figure this out, Marc starts helping new customers. We ended up sitting and watching Marc take on new clients, thinking Stacy is working on our numbers, but then every so often we found her joining other client meetings! Finally she gets around to taking care of us and tells us she cannot do anything for us, she can give us the number previously given and thats it. So we understand and we ask what about a CPO Xterra, any year? She looks into her auction system and according to her there were only 2 in the entire country and even with a CPO they would still have us in the same price range. Really?! Two CPO Xterra's in the ENTIRE country and they would be in the same price range as a brand new one?! We immediately left and ended up wasting two hours! The next day I look on the nissan website for CPO Xterra's and find 25 of them in the area! Needless to say we ended up buying the year, model AND package of the Xterra that we wanted in our price range and it WAS NOT with Great Neck Nissan! More

I have leased 3 Nissan Altimas in the past, my last lease was a Honda Accord. The reason that I switched was a bad experience with a salesperson 3 years ago. I was not happy with the Accord and really want was a Honda Accord. The reason that I switched was a bad experience with a salesperson 3 years ago. I was not happy with the Accord and really wanted to get another Altima. I came to the end of my lease with Honda and went to Great Neck Nissan on Tuesday, July 3, 2012. I was immediately welcomed by Marc Rathaus (Sales & Leasing Consultant). Marc was very friendly, polite, informative and most important not pushy in any way. He listened to my request and went out of his way to accommodate me. I test drove the Altima and the Rogue, Marc explained every detail of both vehicles to me, he left nothing unexplained or unanswered. Marc made sure that I was comfortable and even bought me lunch as I was there for a few hours. I thought that was very caring and I was very appreciative for the thoughtful jesture. I went in with the intention of looking and did not expect to drive away with a new car the same day. Salvatore J. Amendola (Sales Manager) was also influential in my productive day. He was very polite and also made my experience a great one. The whole experience was great!!!! Everything was taken care of for me in a very pleasant, professional manner. I would highly recommend Great Neck Nissan and Marc Rathaus and Salvatore Amendola. To put the icing on the cake, I loved when the purchase was complete and everyone from Great Neck Nissan comes over and shakes your hand and congratulates you (it was like a party celebration), very nice touch!! Keep up the great work!!!! More

This is the 2nd time I went to Stacey Baron for a 1 year old car that she obtained through her expertise in auctions nationwide. Stacey manages the Nissan dealership and provides this "auction" service as old car that she obtained through her expertise in auctions nationwide. Stacey manages the Nissan dealership and provides this "auction" service as well. My first experience with her I wanted a Mitsubishi Endeavor and she delivered exactly what I wanted and more! Today my 23 year old son picked up a 2011 Jeep Wrangler Sport with little mileage and in mint condition and to boot in orange! She shipped it from Minnesota to Great Neck, NY! After all the paper work was done the entire staff, about 10 people, we're singing a congratulations song to him with sirens going off!!! Fair price great service, painless transactions, a great place to buy a car. More
I never made it to the dealership. After years of making cash purchases I am trying to build my credit. I was informed that financing a vehicle, versus paying cash, would be a good place to start. A friend cash purchases I am trying to build my credit. I was informed that financing a vehicle, versus paying cash, would be a good place to start. A friend had refinanced their auto using RoadLoans, an internet company, so I decided to try that option because I do not enjoy wasting hours dealing with finance managers and sales people. The RoadLoan was approved and Great Neck Nissan was listed as a preferred dealer who would supposedly accept the RoadLoan for financing, as long as I brought in the proper paperwork. I called Great Neck Nissan to confirm that they would accept the RoadLoan and I would be able to come in, choose a vehicle, give them the paperwork and leave--the person I spoke with assured me that it would be a quick transaction and then referred me to a salesperson--Marco. The night that I was scheduled to meet with Marco to test drive a couple of vehicles I called to make sure he understood that I did not want to spend hours at the dealership and I was not interested in seeking additional financing from Great Neck Nissan. At that point, Marco began telling me that the RoadLoan is just a pre-approval and he couldn't confirm that I would be able to purchase the car that night because they have to send in the paperwork to RoadLoans to get final approval. He then gave me a lot of double-talk about how it depends on my credit score. I asked to speak with a finance manager because I wanted to go ahead and send in all of my paperwork in advance of my arrival to speed up the process. Marco refused to transfer me to a finance manager and told me to feel free to shop around because any dealer would tell me the same thing. Is RoadLoans a scam or is Great Neck Nissan the scam? Because someone is lying and guilty of falsely advertising exactly what they offer consumers. The RoadLoans paperwork that I have states "approved" not "pre-approved contingent on your credit and the type of vehicle and whether our office is open to give final approval." More
A very pleasant car buying experience. I found the right car for me with the patient and expert help of Stacy Baron and her colleagues. I was primarily interested in a Nissan product, but my space/storage r car for me with the patient and expert help of Stacy Baron and her colleagues. I was primarily interested in a Nissan product, but my space/storage requirements were unique and tough to fulfill. I must have measured and tried my gear in at least a dozen vehicles with bob Kennedy's patient assistance. After several trips and many "auditions", Stacy came up with a previously owned gem which suited my needs. What a great find only 3 minutes from my home! Also, Stacy made a promise for a car option/part which was necessary for my particular needs. Promise kept to a satisfied customer. Jesse Goldstein expedited the sale details expertly and has followed up with emails and calls re. my satisfaction and/or concerns. In years to come, I'll return to Great Neck Nissan for new or used "wheels" and rest assured I'm in good hands. Keep up the fine work. Z More
