Jason Mikel was the sales consultant who assisted me in the purchase of a new Subaru Impreza. Under normal circumstanses buying a new car is not one of my favorite pastimes but Jason made the whole experi the purchase of a new Subaru Impreza. Under normal circumstanses buying a new car is not one of my favorite pastimes but Jason made the whole experience quite painless. He was extremely friendly and had a courteous sales technique. When I picked up the car he gave me a very thorough explanation of both the interior and external features of the vehicle - literally from bumper to bumper. I was particularily impressed by his knowledge of the electronics. In the future I would have no hesitation in returning to Gerald Subaru to purchase another vehicle. More

I had been dealing with Kathy Wong (Internet Sales) for some time and found her to be very friendly and helpful. When it came time for my wife and I to purchase a new vehicle we reached out to Kathy becau some time and found her to be very friendly and helpful. When it came time for my wife and I to purchase a new vehicle we reached out to Kathy because she had been so helpful. I gave Kathy all of our trade in information over the phone and she gave me a ball park number based on information provided to her by her used car manager. Based on the number given, I decided to go in and purchase a 2013 Forester for my wife. I found the vehicle we wanted on their website and Kathy confirmed that the vehicle was in stock so I told her I would be at their lot within 30 minutes. I let her know that time is at a premium for me as we have a new born. I was clear that any deal would have to be done fast. I packed up my 6 month old daughter and headed out in the snow! After getting to the dealer, Kathy informed me that the car was at their Naperville lot and it was en route. This was frustrating to me as I was excited to see the car. After waiting for about 30 minutes, Lee Cuomo came to get my keys to have a closer look at our trade in. Lee didn't say anything except "Keys please.", he took them and walked off. At that point I figured Lee was a mechanic and just not good with people. After ~20 minutes, Lee came back in with a folded up piece of paper. He sat my daughter and I down and gave me a trade in number that was $2K less than I was quoted online. I was obviously surprised and told him that he was off. Lee seemed offended at this and asked me what I meant. I let him know that my wife came down to a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a Subaru Forester as her two car choices. I let him know that St Charles Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler had offered us $3K more than him for the trade in, and as a result he was off in the deal. Lee immediately laughed and said "That doesn't even make sense, they aren't even the same kind of cars. A Jeep and a Subaru?" I told Lee that I would appreciate it if he kept his opinion of my wife's new car choices to himself. He again stated that it made no sense. My response to that was "Hey, keep your commentary to yourself." From there, Lee stood up and proclaimed in an angry tone "I'll also keep my car to myself" - and stormed off. From there, I asked for my car's keys back. I packed up my 6 month old and I left. The next day, I called Grand Subaru and purchased a Forester from Bill Neilis. The great thing is that Grand Subaru's price was $2K less than Gerald's price. They also gave me a $1K more than Lee quoted me on the trade in. My total savings was $3K. I'm glad that Lee kept the car for himself. He ended up saving me a lot of money. To summarize, it was a horrible experience. I can't imagine someone talking to a potential customer like Lee did. Let alone a customer holding a 6 month old baby girl. More

Everyone at the dealership was really helpful and cared about what was important to me. Jeremie made the whole process very easy. This was my first car purchase and it was completely opposite of the horro about what was important to me. Jeremie made the whole process very easy. Jon was so helpful and made me realize that I didn't even want the car the I thought I did! He showed me that a manual Impreza was just not the way to go!
