Started looking for a car in April, with Gerald, since I had bought a car from them a year ago, and they were the closest dealer. I hadn't had the best experience, but wanted to give them a chance. We had a great experience buying our vehicle. We also had them install a remote start system. The service department was fast and great service. Walked into Gerald Nissan without the serious intention of buying a car. Test drove a few and decided I really liked the Nissan Juke. Brian & the Business Manager high-balled a price, I said "thanks but no thanks" and they miraculously came back with a monthly payment $100 lower - as long as I purchased on the spot. Not one to make a financial decision without the wife's input, said "thanks for your time." Went back the next day (Saturday). Brian was with another customer & suggested I walk around the showroom a bit...an hour & a half later, I left. He called & explained coming in first thing in the AM would have been better. Regardless, went back and low & behold the one-day-only offer still stood. After the deal was done, I hopped in the car and realized a few things were missing - floor mats and an owner's manual. I asked Brian about them & he informed me that floor mats didn't come with the car & he'd have to order the owner's manual. He said he'd see what he could do on the floor mats but called on Monday to say "sorry, no can do." I just bought a $25k car and he couldn't throw in floor mats? Shouldn't a car come with floor mats? Apparently, once the sale was done, all desire to hook a brother up was null & void (though he did ask me to treat him well on the customer satisfaction survey.) My bad for not realizing a car didn't come with floor mats but their bad for ending this relationship on a negative note over $150 floor mats. This was my 3rd purchase with Gerald...not sure I'll go back (or recommend them to friends/family.) More
