My husband and I love the non traditional sales approach to the sales team. I have purchased cars from this same dealer for over six years. The entire staff is friendly, and you can go to ANYONE and they will be more than willing to help answer any questions you have. You walk in a years. The entire staff is friendly, and you can go to ANYONE and they will be more than willing to help answer any questions you have. You walk in and immediately am greeted with friendly faces. They are not overbearing and respect your space(they don’t hound you when you’re out shopping the floor for your next vehicle). Tom Kastrati (GM) is the most friendly person and he makes a point to say hi and is very welcoming. The finance manager Ed is wonderful to work with. And the salesman Kaine is knowledgeable, friendly and doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable, which is really great when you are deciding on your next vehicle. This is a GREAT dealership and I wish more people would go through them. They are just excellent and have YOUR best interests at heart, and it shows. More

On September 30th, around 11 am, my parents visited Gerald Ford in North Aurora to explore Ford F150 trucks. We have been a generational Ford family, and my dad was in the market for a new truck. They Gerald Ford in North Aurora to explore Ford F150 trucks. We have been a generational Ford family, and my dad was in the market for a new truck. They were initially pleased with the assistance of bilingual sales representative Christina Huerta, as Spanish is their primary language. My parents were shown a truck that caught my father's interest, and the sales team began discussing the numbers, which my parents were considering. However, when my father requested a brief two-hour window to consider the deal, which he intended to use for measuring his garage, having breakfast, and bringing in his daughter to help with translation on important details regarding the purchase of a new truck, the situation took an unfortunate turn. The manager, Tom Kastrati, had a sudden shift in customer service. He not only ridiculed my parents in front of his sales team and other customers but also denied them the opportunity to proceed with the purchase simply because my father asked for a short time to think it over, well before the dealership's closing hours. Tom employed high-pressure sales tactics, insisting that it was a "now or never" deal. Christina's demeanor also changed, as she raised her voice and questioned the need for my father's daughter to come in, suggesting a phone call would suffice. Tom went even further by making an unkind comment to my mother, implying she needed glasses to see what a great deal he was offering. It's disheartening to witness such treatment at a dealership we expected to uphold higher standards of customer service. We couldn't help but feel sorry for the sales team being subjected to Tom's aggressive tactics. We wonder if this is the type of leadership that Gerald Ford encourages. Tom's approach seemed counterproductive. If the deal was indeed as fantastic as he claimed, two hours should not have been a concern. Instead, my parents returned home feeling disappointed by the way they were treated. My sister and I joined our father for breakfast, assisted with garage measurements, and reminded him that there are numerous Ford dealerships in Illinois. In fact, there are over 167 of them. We promptly found a more welcoming and professional team at Fair Oaks Ford in Naperville, where Niko and his team not only worked out a deal with my father but also offered him all the time he needed for consideration. Gerald Ford in North Aurora should strive for improved customer service and learn from the exceptional service provided by the team at Fair Oaks Ford in Naperville. More
