Service Visit Had a great experience at Fox Valley Ford. As I am sitting here getting my 2014 Escape serviced I am writing this review. Was here for my 65000 mile M Had a great experience at Fox Valley Ford. As I am sitting here getting my 2014 Escape serviced I am writing this review. Was here for my 65000 mile Maintenance and they kept me informed step by step as they went thru the vehicle. Oil change, rotate and even changed air filter as they showed me it was dirty. A very honest and trustworthy dealership. I bought my car here and definitely will buy another and continue to service it. More
Most Comfortable Car Buying Experience First I'd like to start by saying I rarely review businesses, butI felt compelled to write praise for my car buying experience with Fox Valley Ford. A First I'd like to start by saying I rarely review businesses, butI felt compelled to write praise for my car buying experience with Fox Valley Ford. At 44 years old this isn't the first time i've bought a car from a dealership, however it is the first time I've enjoyed the experience. I recommend to anyone buying a car to ask for GREGG BONFIELD, the sales consultant who aided me with my purchase. Gregg is not your typical "car salesman", he is warm, friendly, courteous, LISTENS to what you ACTUALLY want.....and most importantly DELIVERS! For my wife to tell me she was glad we went to Fox Valley Ford, and Gregg was a first for me. He really made us feel at ease, no pressure, but was still extremely attentive and helpful to our requirements. Gregg you are a credit to yourself, Fox Valley Ford and the Ford Company. Thank you for you awesome customer service, and professional, courteous salesmanship. Regards, Mr. and Mrs Lewis More

Buyer Beware, Purchase from Here at Your Own Risk We've purchased two used vehicles at this dealership in the span of four months, and should have learned after the first one that it was a bad place t We've purchased two used vehicles at this dealership in the span of four months, and should have learned after the first one that it was a bad place to buy one. We were able to work out the kinks on the first one with the 'warranty' that was issued, but it was painful. The worst part of the experience was with the second car that we drove during the day then found after sunset the night of delivery that the lighting behind the speedometer on the instrument was inoperative. We called the dealer the next day to advise them and made a service appointment to address the issue. After bringing it in for the appointment, we're told that bulbs needed replacing at a cost of nearly $400. Really? We opposed this charge since we took delivery just a few days prior. The service folks, who were really in a bad position, spoke to sales. The sales manager pulled the 'as-is' argument for not dealing with it and told us we were on the hook for the fix. Same went for the general manager. I ended up fixing the car for the cost of the bulbs and 30 minutes of my time. Good riddance, Fox Valley Ford. I will NEVER do business with this dealership again. I should have learned the first time, but now I know. More
Lackluster Staff We went to this dealership ready to buy- they had what we wanted and made it known we were ready to buy "today". The energy in this place is so low t We went to this dealership ready to buy- they had what we wanted and made it known we were ready to buy "today". The energy in this place is so low they could be in an entirely different business and just be using the vehicles as decoration. Neither the salesperson or the manager seemed at all interested in selling us a vehicle. This was after we stated they didn't seem as if they wanted our business. I believe this dealership is out of touch with the car buying experience you get at most other shops. Buying a car is one of the more exciting things in life- it would be nice to have the seller be at least minimally interested. A minimal offer of some water or coffee would have been appreciated. We did get a good price for the vehicle without a lot of back and forth. I should add we had no trade in and had our financing in order- and it was a slow Monday. I would have thought they'd be enthusiastic, friendly, or at least smile at a minimum. Nothing went wrong, it was efficient, but also nothing positive to say. As about as exciting as buying life insurance. Would return to the dealer again for the pricing, but would have very low expectations otherwise. More
Dreary and Depressing We were shopping for new cars in the North Aurora auto mall and found this dealership to be a real dud. This was not a positive sales experience. I' We were shopping for new cars in the North Aurora auto mall and found this dealership to be a real dud. This was not a positive sales experience. I'm not sure how to describe this without sounding mean spirited. The moment you walk through the door, you recognize the lack of energy. The staff is old and not friendly. Our sales guy was decent, but the rest of the staff did not smile or say "hello" or make you feel welcome in the dealership at all. It was a beautiful, sunny Saturday and 70 degrees - you would think they would be in a positive, up beat mood. The staff sitting around looked as if they did not want to be there. My wife wanted to leave before they pulled a car around for a test drive - all based on the lack of energy and friendliness of the staff and overall dreary atmosphere of this business. If you are looking for a Ford product (which I like) I would not recommend this dealership. More
I called on Saturday to check to see if they has a truck I found on Cars.com which they did still have on the lot. I spoke to Spencer Miller who was very friendly. I told him I would drive the 2.5 hours wit I found on Cars.com which they did still have on the lot. I spoke to Spencer Miller who was very friendly. I told him I would drive the 2.5 hours with my husband Monday morning and buy the truck with cash. I asked him what method of payment would be best. He told me a personal check would be fine. I took receipts with my balances to show there were ample funds in my accounts. I also bought a Ford Flex this week from Currie Ford of Frankfort IL this week and they ran my credit and accepted my check on the spot and did the title work for me. We arrived at 11:30 am to find Spencer and another salesman standing at the door looking bored as there were no customers. We drove the lot and found that the truck we came to buy was being displayed on a riser in the lot. It was raining and the truck was dirty. We were warmly welcomed by Spencer and he had someone get the truck and begin cleaning it. I was not pleased that this had not already been done as they had ample time on Saturday or Monday morning but had done nothing. My Ford Flex from Currie Ford in the same manner and when I arrived the vehicle was completely ready and immaculate. We accepted the price offered as fair, did the paperwork and wrote the check. We were told that when the check cleared they would immediately send the title. I mentioned in the electronic banking system it would clear the next day to which the finance man agreed. We were given a 7 day drive away plate. At Currie Ford they gave me a month drive away intrastate plate and were able to put my plate from my trade in on my car due to the title work that they did for me. We waited and waited. No one spoke to us about the features on the truck we just sat there by ourselves. An hour later the truck was pulled up and we left. The truck was poorly cleaned with dirty places in the interior and exterior. The check cleared the bank Tuesday. Friday came and the title had not arrived. I called and spoke with Sales Manager Cliff Maser. He was rather unconcerned and initially told me there was nothing he could do. I pressed the issue stating the check had cleared and I was did not receive the title as promised. He said he could do some checking and get back to me that day. I called numerous times to reach him again and he never called me back. Saturday I had my husband called and spoke to the receptionist who told my husband that they put a ten day hold on checks before sending out the title. I called and insisted on speaking to someone in charge and was eventually connected to again to Cliff who was still completely unconcerned about our title and that the 7 day plate ran out the next day. After much too much insisting I got him to agree to have me e-mail a copy of the cancelled check to him and then he would overnight the title. He gave an incomplete e-mail address with an odd spelling of carjockey (carjocky) and did not say it was comcast.net so I assumed it was .com thus I had to call multiple times to get the correct address. I wrote that I wanted the tracking number of the overnight delivery. I get a return email stating he will send the title out on Monday. I call and get voice mail once again. I call back and insist that the receptionist get him on the phone and tell him if he does not send it immediately I will be returning the truck Monday. He says he can send it and I get the tracking number via e-mail for the UPS overnight delivery. I would never buy anything from this dealership if it was the only Ford dealer left in the world. I love Fords but I would buy a Yugo if they still made them rather then deal with these bozos again! More
