Lack of service in a the Service Dept. If it wasn't for my family working in Ford, this dealership would prompt me to leave the Ford Family completely, I've had several instances of wa If it wasn't for my family working in Ford, this dealership would prompt me to leave the Ford Family completely, I've had several instances of warranty work needed, and to get it done it felt like I was taking money out there own pockets. In fact one of the service reps, even said as much. Shortly after purchasing my 2013 Fusion (NOT from this dealership), I had a set of keys that were defective as the battery covers would not stay on. Therefore, as part of warranty, I wanted them replaced. This dealership would not honor the Ford warranty. They also claimed to reprogram a new set would cost me $500. 2 lies! 1st, a defect is covered by the initial 36K warranty (says very clearly in the paperwork), and you don't need to "plug in a computer" to program the keys. You just need a current master key to create a new master key. Then after a hour of arguing with them, the service rep said to me, if I replace these keys for you and Ford doesn't cover it, it comes out of my pay check. LIES!!!! I asked my brother who is a Master Tech at Charles Gabus Ford in Des Moines, and he said that was the most false thing he's ever heard from a dealership. that NEVER happens. Don't trust this dealership, ESPECIALLY the service department. More

Working with the Smith Family owned dealership makes it feel so much more comfortable than the large corporate dealers. Gary Smith Ford worked with us to feel like we made the perfect choice for us. There was no pressure, the numbers were fair, and everyone was really pleasant to work with. Our salesman Fred Kratt was knowledgeable and knew just what we were looking for. We have worked with the Smith dealerships for our Honda and now the Ford dealership for our new truck.. Family owned does means you will have a much more friendly, professional time purchasing your new vehicle whether used or new they treat you with a great amount of respect. With that being said, we highly recommend Gary Smith Ford in Fort Walton Beach, FL We can honestly say we are very happy with working and buying with the Family owned dealership. More
We were very pleased with the service. We were having serious issues with our car while on vacation in Destin. We usually buy Ford's so looked for a dealer and closest was Gary smith. BULL is the Man! For over 2 months, I tried to get a car from MANY dealerships in Santa Rosa County. However, in spite of their false hope - and even with a pre-approved loan from my credit union, no one was able to close the deal because our trade-in was so upside-down. Finally, I read read what others had said about Jeremy (Bull) Bullock and Gary Smith Ford. True to the commendations written about him, he never gave up until he found just the right vehicle to fit our situation. Bull is a patient, hard working gentleman who gives service with results, no pressure, and no false promises. I highly recommend him and would use him again and again. More

New Car Jerry Bullock was very professional and this is the 3rd bought from this salesman and 4th auto bought from dealer. Don't buy from the Smiths Rear defrost went out at 49k miles, warranty expired at 48k. Dealership wont even entertain fixing it.
