I had a Ford Explorer Recall for #26S08 Rear Suspension Toe Link Replacement and Ford Explorer Recall Issued NHTSA: # 24V031 Recall : #24S02 Exterior A-Pillar Applique Molding Replacement.. Recall for Rear Toe Link Replacement and Ford Explorer Recall Issued NHTSA: # 24V031 Recall : #24S02 Exterior A-Pillar Applique Molding Replacement.. Recall for Rear Suspension Toe Link Replacement was done. But Ford Explorer Recall #24S02 Exterior A-Pillar Applique Molding Replacement was not done. Mr.Will Allerheiliden had to order parts for Ford Explorer Recall #24S02 Exterior A-Pillar Applique Molding and 2017 Ford Explorer Limited LLLuminated Keyless Entry Pad of which I noted was broken after completion of service. I have recalls on all of my Fords, which is four. I brought this car up because they said the recall was available, which is one hour from my house. Apparently, the recall isn’t actually available. When I made my appointment at this dealership, I told the scheduler person that I had already had issues leaving my car there. My car was running rough with the air conditioner on. I stated this fact and she’s told me to come on and they could run a diagnostics on it and if they found the problem they could order the part and I could take my car home and when the park came in I could bring it back and they would fix it. What happened was a very rude service advisor greeted me not even with a good morning how are you smile it was more like why are you here. So I told him about my car running rough when the air conditioner is on but it wasn’t doing it at the moment and he informed me I cannot do anything for you unless the problem exist so he walks back in then my car starts doing it so I followed him back and I said my car is doing it now. So he decides to have the diagnostics he only had the car there maybe 10 minutes, and he comes back and said he ran the diagnostics and everything‘s fine. But his technician did say that my car was running rough when the air conditioner was on. Which is the whole reason I was there. He then informed me I needed to leave my car there for two or three days so that he could run more diagnostics on my car. I informed him that I am totally prepared to stay there all day so he can run diagnostics on my car. He told me no. So the whole reason I made the appointment and scheduled it and was prepared to stay all day was because they were going to run diagnostics on my car. Which did not happen the service advisor was rude I said when can I bring my car back and I will need a loaner car. He said when that happens- when I get a loaner car for you I’ll give you a call ha ha. So you know that wasn’t going to happen he is the rudest service advisor I’ve ever had ever. More
When I’ve reserved my appointment I explained to the scheduler that I need a diagnostics run on my car. I explained the issue. And she assured me that when I brought it in the service advisor could run scheduler that I need a diagnostics run on my car. I explained the issue. And she assured me that when I brought it in the service advisor could run a diagnostics on my car and tell me the issue and order the part and I could take my car with me and when the park came in they would call me. This however is not what happened. I was greeted by a rude service advisor and it went downhill from there. I explained the problem and he refused to look at my car in the beginning. After explaining my issue he did take it back for diagnostics and came back and said we didn’t find anything but the tech did agree that your car is running rough with the air conditioner on. And that I needed to bring it back and leave it for one or two days so they could run more diagnostics. And then requested a loaner car and he said if I find one I’ll give you a call. And he walked off that was my experience this was a terrible experience I shouldn’t even give it a one star. So basically he agreed that I had an issue, but he plan to do nothing about it. I told him I was prepared to stay there all day so he could diagnose my car, and he refused and said he needed at least two days. He was very obnoxious and rude. More
