I've purchased 3 trucks from Gary Smith over the past 25 years. I have always paid a fair price and they have gone out of their way to resolve any issues I've had with the vehicles. Had to return to the dealership because during an oil change oil was spilled over the engine causing burnt oil smell, oil drip marks on the driveway and a red rag was left under the oil filter.. Dropped off Wednesday , Amanda said she would call Friday morning no call, left message at 11:00 no response, drove to dealership, at 1 pm drove to dealership. Mechanic said no issues with brakes, leave over morning no call, left message at 11:00 no response, drove to dealership, at 1 pm drove to dealership. Mechanic said no issues with brakes, leave over weekend will check brakes again and check , to see if check valve is sticking, will call before noon Monday. 12:30 called, left message, no response. Called again at 1:30 talked to secretary, told her if no response I will pickup my car and never return. About 1 hour later , we were going to get the car fixed or not she finally called and said pick up your car, we did see her she was not there. You think the wound do some kind of trouble shooting with a brake issue. But that’s just me. If you could duplicate the problem or not. This issue happened 4 times on 1 month. More
Scheduled my appointment for warranty work, dropped it off. Heard back two days later that pictures would be sent off for warranty to approve. Didn’t hear back from my service advisor for a week and come off. Heard back two days later that pictures would be sent off for warranty to approve. Didn’t hear back from my service advisor for a week and come to find out the rear diff reseal and water pump through ford warranty never got started and the electrical work under warranty never had pictures sent for approval until I drove up to the dealer to figure out what was going on. Once I got there truck was done within two days. Essentially sat for 2 weeks without attention or progress started. Once I picked it up. Service advisor wouldn’t get out of his chair and stayed slumped while I walked around the desk to hand him my payment and get paperwork. Absolutely zero work ethic from this advisor. Zero communication. More
I have not purchased a vehicle from Gary Smith Ford, but I do own a 21 F150. I will tell you Amanda and the service department is top-notch. I own two other BMWs and I do not believe I get the same service I do own a 21 F150. I will tell you Amanda and the service department is top-notch.
