This dealership sold me a defective vehicle. It was back in the shop after only 12 hours. Two days later, we pick it up, got a couple miles down the road and the car shut off. We went back and forth with the manager for two weeks who told us if it was bad they’d trade is for something else but not give out money back. Why? Because the engine blew.again the car had been in our possession for less than 12 hours. I went to dealership to try to negotiate with them. They talked over me, belittled me then stood up, came towards me and yelled get the bleep out of my office we’re not doing anything to help. It’s on you. After research, it appears to be a common trend with them. More
Sales team is great, service department is not. We bought a vehicle here in December, it was an enjoyable experience. I wanted to use the same dealer for my service needs on my other vehicle. Even We bought a vehicle here in December, it was an enjoyable experience. I wanted to use the same dealer for my service needs on my other vehicle. Even though I was okay with being overcharged so that I can have my truck back It sat for 3 weeks after my appointment date, finally got it back after a month. The advisor’s don’t answer the phones and when they do they don’t answer any of your questions/are not helpful at all, they say they’ll call you back and never do. Call the Ford’s corporate number to speed up the process (800) 392-3673. More
Had an appointment for an A/C and front camera issue, dropped of my 2021 F-150 at 9am heard nothing all day. Called and was told they needed 2 or 3 days to diagnose the issue (was not informed of this w dropped of my 2021 F-150 at 9am heard nothing all day. Called and was told they needed 2 or 3 days to diagnose the issue (was not informed of this when scheduled or droped off). An appointment at this service department is not an appointment it is a drop off. If you have an appointment it is assumed a technician will look at your vehicle during the appointed day. Not the case, it does not take 2 or 3 days to do a diagnosis you need a better appointment system. Who can leave their vehicle for 2 or 3 days without knowing when it will be diagnosed. No offer of a loaner or an actual appointment was made just another opportunity to drop it off and wait 2 or 3 days, find a different Ford Service center until this one figures out how effectively schedule appointments More
My 2019 F150 I bougth from Gary Smith, now has 8,800 miles on it. Has been to the service department twice for the same thing. First time they had it for 2 weeks, said that it was repaired, under warran miles on it. Has been to the service department twice for the same thing. First time they had it for 2 weeks, said that it was repaired, under warranty no charge. ON my way home the check engine light came on AGAIN. Turned around and took it back. They repaired same day. Told me if it came back on to call. It has since come back on. I have called numerous times. I was told it is not under warranty now. Well you didnt fix it the first time. I want a sales manager to call me. I have been waiting for 3 days now. NO call back. When I do call I get the service manager calls back between 4:30 and 5. Still no call back. SO I call and explain my situation to the receptionsit, whoever answered. She looked it up and said it was not under warranty. I said what about the work that was done on it less than a year ago? She said oh I don't know. I'll have a service manager call. Still waiting for that one too. ON a different note, I emailed the service department in October for a servbice appointment. I am still waiting to hear back from that email. Guess Hub City Ford will get my business. More

When I arrived at Gary Smith Ford I was still pretty lost on which vehicle I wanted to buy, luckily Will was the one who assisted me. He was very courteous and patient with me, as well as knowledgeable about on which vehicle I wanted to buy, luckily Will was the one who assisted me. He was very courteous and patient with me, as well as knowledgeable about their inventory. A big thing for me is safety features, he was able to explain what features the cars had, and what he believed would be the best fit for me. He showed me vehicles that were exactly what I was asking for instead of pushing ones that were impractical and way out of my price range, which has happened at other deal ships in the past. Over all there was a feeling of trust and mutual respect as he helped me find the perfect vehicle for me and my family. I would recommend going to Gary Smith Ford next time you need a new car, truck, or SUV and if you do, definitely ask for Will! I will be sending my family and friends to him for years to come! More

We purchased a used 2017 F150 and opted out of the extra warranty because we felt comfortable with all the information we were given by our sales agent, Jared Hall. We were told how ALL vehicles don't leave warranty because we felt comfortable with all the information we were given by our sales agent, Jared Hall. We were told how ALL vehicles don't leave their lot without being serviced and have new or almost new tires. And I have our FB messaging conversations stating all of this. We felt comfortable by our decision because of what we were told by Jared. The evening of our 1 1/2 hour drive home from the dealership, the low-tire pressure light came on, we visually checked it and continued on home because it was dark. The next day we inspected the tires and noticed the date on the tires. Every tire made has the month, week and year stamped on them and our tires read year 2017 which indicates our tires were not even "almost new", they're 5 years old. We should have checked before leaving dealership but we believed what we were told, and that will cost us 4 new tires now. Upon the very next day of driving the truck, we started having issues with it, we took it back to Gary Smith for repairs twice, and made several phone calls to the different managers. At this point they agreed to split the repair cost and we paid $1200. A couple days later the truck was doing the exact same thing, we left messages for the manager, Trey, and sent emails to Gary Smith and Tim Smith and still no answer. Finally we drove back over there and were told any other repairs were on our own. At this point we had to have it towed to a local mechanic shop and ended up paying another $4700 for repairs. He also took pictures of parts to show us and questioned how they could be damaged so quickly if this is what was just replaced during the previous repairs a couple days earlier at the dealership! We emailed Gary and Tim Smith again, and even tried to call them but never heard from either. By now a month has gone by and we've made a payment before we could even drive our new truck! We don't want anyone to go through what we've been though, so make sure to check the date on the tires, carefully check the warranty, and know that some dealerships give you 30 days to return the vehicle, not this one though. They also left all the previous owner's personal info in the truck. So we contacted him and asked him some questions, but at this point the transaction was over. We are now in the process of sending him his personal info so he can pursue what he decides legally to do with this being left in the truck. We were also given a little bit different info from him than we were told from the dealership. We were gullible in believing what we were told by Gary Smith Ford. And were very surprised by the lack of customer service, still to this day have never received any returns emails or returned calls! All we wanted was our truck fixed and for words to be honored that we were told. More
