Horrific customer service by Dean Tuccillo (GM) I had an issue with my 2013 Ford Explorer on a Sunday (water started leaking in through the roof and flooding the interior of the car (it was raining I had an issue with my 2013 Ford Explorer on a Sunday (water started leaking in through the roof and flooding the interior of the car (it was raining quite heavily) and then freezing on the inside in streams and pools. I called and left a message for the service department to call me as soon as they opened Monday morning and then looked up who the GM is for Fullerton Ford and found Dean's name and contact details. I called to leave him a message and was surprised that he answered by saying Hello quietly twice (no name, title, etc.). I wasn't sure if I somehow had the wrong number so I asked if I was speaking with the GM of Fullerton Ford and he said, "Not today you aren't. It's Sunday and I'm about to eat lunch." I was extremely taken aback and explained my issue. He continued to yell at me, ask me what I wanted him to do about it and tell me that all cars have problems - even $150k Mercedes. I said that his attitude is unbelievable and that I'd expect him to be apologetic to which he sarcastically apologized and again said that things happen. If it's rained a number of times wince I bought the car, he'd like to look at it and see what I might have done to make this happen because cars don't just leak. I have under 25k miles, no accidents or issues, I've completed the recommended service and overall maintained the vehicle well. He then asked if I had a sun roof and I said that I do. He told me that my car's probably leaking due to the sunroof drains backing/clogging up. I've never had this issue with other vehicles, but I still don't think that it should happen or that he should yell at me. People don't call the GM of the dealership on Sunday afternoons unless there's an issue that they're upset about or feel is pressing. If you don't want to help or support those people, then don't forward your phone to your personal number and don't take their calls. Answering just to yell at them only makes the situation feel much worse! I will take my car for service tomorrow and hopefully get better service, but I do not anticipate that they can do anything to ever entice me to shop there again. I'll be looking for other Ford dealerships for service. My family's purchased 5 vehicles from Fullerton in the last couple of years, but I've already advised them strongly against it. No one should treat customers so poorly. More

This was “hands down” the most elite group of friendly, personable, efficient, and responsive individuals I have ever dealt with in the car industry. I would just like to take a few minutes to express my appreciation for the experience I had at Fullerton Ford when I purchased my 2015 Ford Explorer L I would just like to take a few minutes to express my appreciation for the experience I had at Fullerton Ford when I purchased my 2015 Ford Explorer Limited. I first spoke with James Sheeley on the phone on Aug 22 concerning the purchase of the vehicle. James was completely customer friendly and professional so I informed him that I would come in and discuss buying the vehicle. I did all my research prior to the visit and also built a few Explorers on Ford.com and also Truecar.com. After arriving at the Dealership, and speaking with James, I informed him that I was completely interested in purchasing the vehicle but not at that time. James gave me his business card and said to come back when I was ready and because I was ordering the vehicle, it would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. I went back to Fullerton on Sept 24 and ordered a 2015 Ruby Red Ford Explorer Limited. The vehicle arrived within the estimated time-frame. I picked it up on Nov 11 and after rebates, I paid less than I expected. I have over 1000+ miles so far and I am enjoying my Explorer !!! My wife and I have purchased 6 vehicles and this experience is in the top 3. If you are looking for a hassle free experience when buying a Ford, James is the Man to get the job done. My judgment of a good sales person is someone that does what is best for the customer and not what is best for them. Mark definitely meets those standards which are hard to find in any sales business. I am in sales myself and all clients want the best deal possible and a very large majority have their guard up. No one wants to get ripped off but Mark will make every effort to watch your back and put you in the best car possible with the best deal possible. A car is a large investment and you need someone like Mark Whalen to help you through the process. More

Within several minutes Michael understood exactly what my requirements were and had directed me towards a vehicle which met those requirements. Michael was very knowledgeable of the entire Ford fleet. He explained and demonstrated features and specifications clearly and concisely.He was friendly and personable yet maintained an appropriately professional attitude and demeanor. My visit was certainly far less painful than any other car buying experience I've ever had. I would recommend this dealership and especially Michael Dunlap to any friends who are looking to purchase a vehicle. More
