It was late on a weekday night and they wanted to make sure we were serious. This is unethical in my eyes as now you are more likely to accept their offer because they have some of your money. Sales guy will also tell you that they can get you good pricing, but will start to play games once you start to negotiate. I should have walked out when they wanted the deposit just to negotiate. Purchasing a 2011 hyundai Tucson (NICK LUTZ, outstanding) This being the second used car i have purchased, and the first car being a complete ripoff sold by a rude salesman. i was skeptical entering fullerton This being the second used car i have purchased, and the first car being a complete ripoff sold by a rude salesman. i was skeptical entering fullerton as I i am only 19 and went on my own. i had looked at the car online and was fully expecting to be taken advantage of. this was not the case as i was approached by Nick Lutz right as i entered and he took me right to the Tucson without trying to upscale me on other cars. there he showed me some of the features that was not on the website listing and allowed me to test drive it reasonable route to get used to its crossover capability. listening to me about my school situation he made recommendations towards what to expect with other vehicles due to my price range. i love driving the car it is fun and have not had any surprises since purchasing. i felt at ease making my decision with no pressure from nick to make any decision. not only did i make the downpayment that same day, the next day i had scheduled to pay the rest my bank was closed and was able to reschedule for the following afternoon. Nick picked me up from my house and i finished the process reasonably fast. i would recommend this to anyone, especially people around my age concerned about buying their own car for the first time. i have already mentioned fullerton to a few friends and specifically mentioned nicks name if they do decide to go there. Two Fullerton Sales. I thoroughly dislike purchasing a vehicle. I accidentally stumbled upon a used vehicle while I was at the dealer for other reasons. James of Fullert I thoroughly dislike purchasing a vehicle. I accidentally stumbled upon a used vehicle while I was at the dealer for other reasons. James of Fullerton saw me looking at the vehicle and asked if I wanted to take a test drive. I declined and he was not pushy. I slept on it and decided to contact James. I left a message and at that point I became impatient for fear the vehicle would be sold before I could make a deal. I honestly wanted to make the deal over the phone and not go there unless I was purchasing the vehicle. James was very patient, understanding, polite, professional and never pushy. I made an appointment as I did have a vehicle to trade and understood they needed to see my trade. When there I once again reminded him how much I disliked car dealer experiences. I met with James and I have to say it was the second best car buying experience. The first was when my boyfriend purchased a used vehicle from Fullerton Ram in 2013 (the sales rep no longer works at Fullerton but she was wonderful). The next was this experience with James. I did my research and I presented a fair offer and stated I was not going back and forth. My offer was final. James brought the offer to Management and it was accepted. My new, used to me, Jeep came to me completely detailed with a certified warranty. I owe this experience all to James Sheeley, He actually made the experience pleasant. I also give a big thank you to Craig in the finance department. He was very helpful. I also highly recommend Kathy Bernstein in service who actually stayed after hours to wait for me to arrive for a service appointment. I was late due to traffic. I called Fullerton service to let them know I was running late and the person I spoke with said there was an issue with my appointment. I was ready to turn around and go back home when I called Fullerton again and Kathy answered. She was able to find my appointment and waited after hours for me to get there. That's a team player who goes above and beyond. I highly recommend these people at Fullerton and will definitely recommend them. More

Both times the experience was friendly and pleasant. I dealt with Nick Lutz who worked with me to get the car I wanted at the price I could afford. There were no shady sales pitches which made for a quick deal. Because I bought a certified pre-owned car I was hesitant and asked to have my mechanic look at it before the purchase. Nick not only quickly agreed he even drove it on his day off to my mechanic....which is a good 40 minutes away in South Edison. He followed up with a call to see how everything was working out and I couldn't be happier with the process. Even got a decent deal on my trade-in! More
