Too long of a wait for oil change. My recent visit to Friendly Ford was less than desirable. I made an appointment a week ahead of time for an oil change, wipers and to check a belt buc My recent visit to Friendly Ford was less than desirable. I made an appointment a week ahead of time for an oil change, wipers and to check a belt buckle that was sticking. My past visits with a full waiting room was never more than 90 minutes tops but on this particular day I waited over THREE hours with not a single person coming to me to even give me an update until I asked. I watched many ahead of me come and go with no issues but I sat for 3 hours and I'm pretty sure if I hadn't complained I would have sat longer. They said it takes time for diagnostic but I know it does not take this long. To make matters worse I assumed the buckle was being replaced because it was taking too long and I was told as I was checking out that it was out of stock and I would have to come back again. Does this sound like an acceptable time frame for the services I received? I'm hoping that if I do get a call back that the buckle is in that I will not have to wait 3 hours plus for a replacement. I expressed my disappointment with the service department but it was dismissed with a can't help you kind of attitude. I will not longer be making appointments because obviously this does not make a difference. I've been coming here for many years and never have had this type of issue, it's always been outstanding and I would STILL recommend this center to others but my hope is that this is not what my future visits will hold. More

Then she emailed me costs for the tires and a complete breakdown of expensed associated with tires. Many tire dealers and others are very slow to do this. I was able to price the tires online. Kathie found the same prices as I did and Friendly Ford matched the lowest price for the tires we selected. The service staff then installed the tires and the vehicle was ready when promised. Thanks to Kathie and the service team at Friendly Ford. We saved money and got quality service. Hard to beat that. More

Great people, high cost Let me start by saying the service staff at Friendly Ford, from my service writer to the cashier, were very friendly and exhibited excellent customer Let me start by saying the service staff at Friendly Ford, from my service writer to the cashier, were very friendly and exhibited excellent customer service skills. I have no complaints whatsoever in that regard and Friendly Ford excels in that area when compared to other Ford dealers I have gone to. As I stated in my last survey, the main issue I have with Friendly Ford is sometimes scheduling problems and the relatively high cost of your service. I had brought my truck in earlier this year for an oil change and the technician noted that I needed my pinion seal replaced. Noting how expensive the repair would be, I decided to wait and bring the truck back. Later in the year I called to schedule for the pinion repair and when I brought my truck in, I was told they didn’t have the part in stock so I had to re-schedule to bring it back for the repair. When I brought it back, I had simply asked for the technician to check and make sure that the drive shaft center support bearing was still ok when he did the repair for the pinion seal- sometimes a bad bearing or u-joint can cause the pinion seal to go bad as well. In order to replace the pinion seal, the technician would have to remove the driveshaft/u-joints anyways so checking the center support bearing (just visual check, no special test required) would be simple enough to do. To my surprise, when I looked at my bill, I was charged an additional $18 for the technician to do this simple check. I spent over $500 for this service, was it really necessary to charge me an additional fee to check a part that had to be removed anyway to service the pinion seal? And that is basically my main complaint about Friend Ford- I feel, in my opinion, your service charges are too high. More

As always, GREAT service!!! We have a Chrysler Town and County van. The runner board along the passenger side came loose. We took it to a Chrysler dealer in the area and paid $ We have a Chrysler Town and County van. The runner board along the passenger side came loose. We took it to a Chrysler dealer in the area and paid $120.00 for them to fix it. It fell off within one week. Paul in the body department took care of the problem and it looks great. Our other vehicles are Ford (and purchased at Friendly Ford) and that is what we will be sticking with in the future. I highly recommend Friendly Ford for all your car care needs.. More
