Brought them my XC70 CC for some routine work and inspection. When I dropped it off, there wasn't much important work needed, no check engine light, pretty much everything worked fine. When I picked it up, the directional signal auto-cancellation mechanism is now suddenly not working, the check engine light came on after about 10 miles, and a "message" is on the dash every time the car starts saying *ENGINE SYSTEM SERVICE REQUIRED*. I brought it right back, they kept it for a few days, but ultimately no improvement. They claim the check engine light is due to an air leak in the flex pipe, which is only a few months old, and they would not fix the directional auto-cancellation, and no report on the system service warning. All for the low low price of around $4000. Pros are: Nash was extremely courteous, and provided a loaner XC 90, which was nice, though not exactly fast: they had it for 4 days and came back with more problems than when it went in. Overall: I'd been warned by a fellow Volvo owner to steer clear of Empire, and I should've listened. Next, it will be going to Glen Cove. More

Errol hall assisted me from the moment I walked in the door of Empire Volvo. At the time, I was not certain that a Volvo would the car I would ultimately purchase.
