With all due respect Derek, that does not clarify anything for me. The damage in question is not user error or from hitting normal road debris, I would have had to hit something noticeable. Also how is something that is affecting my car internally not covered under warranty? Is the muffler covered because that’s an internal component but is mostly external. The handling of this is completely wrong and for me does not help at all. There is no way that with this amazing warranty you guys swear by that not even having the car for a year that I should be out of $800 for something I didn’t even know was a thing or could have been so “easily damaged”. Also I do question if someone at kia damaged my car since they couldn’t even handle my oil change correctly and could have in fact ruined my engine. If you want to help, then help cover the expenses. Thanks!
