So far, after a week of back and forth with 6 different dealers, Dulles has been up front all the way. They are offering an excellent deal on both the new car and my trade in. And believe me, I've done my research, including finding out what the invoice price is on the car. The specific Subaru I want is hard to find, but they did it, when another dealership said it was not available. But after a week of dealing with 6 different dealerships, Dulles is by far the best. None of this, "Come in and talk with the manager" stuff. No bait and switch or "the deal is only good today" stuff. Nor did they agree on a price during the 0% interest rate period only to say, "Sorry, we can't get your car until after the interest rate goes up." Dulles just said, "Yes, we can beat that offer" and gave all the costs for the car, tax, tags, processing, etc. without any hassle and then found the car in less than a day. And they'll accept the CarMax appraisal for trade in, which no one else would match. I go to pick up my car on Wednesday, so we'll see if everything goes smoothly. But so far, Dulles has been excellent to deal with. I'd call them an up-front, hassle free, honest dealership. I'm only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the deal hasn't closed yet. If all goes well, I'll change it to 5 stars. More

The manager talked to me like a dog, the finance managers ran my credit over 15 times with various banks without telling me just to get me the highest interest rate possible (which dropped my credit nearly 7-8 points), the service bay "detailed" my car by leaving swirls all over the paint and cigarette ash in my passenger seat, the dealer charged me MSRP which was above the price we agreed on and falsified documentation, no one answered my phone calls for weeks, when my car was going in for a fix they returned it with an empty tank after putting me up in a piece of junk 200C with bald tires and demanded I fill that cars tank before returning... And after all this, I traded the xxxx car in because they treated me and the car so poorly. I finally got through to someone who had some common sense and allowed me to cancel my warranties. A month after cancelling them, I call back to check on the cancellations and THEY WERE NEVER CANCELLED. How many things can you mess up? You can definitely trust this dealer to provide you with literally the worst car buying and car owning experience ever. There's a very good reason they are stuck way out in Dulles and primarily a Chrysler dealer. Never ever buy from them, especially not a Subaru. The amount of pissed off people I saw storming in and out of that dealership in one day was insane. I should've taken that as a red flag from the get-go. There's probably a very good reason the salesman I worked with wouldn't stop complaining about his job and jerk boss right to my face while he was trying to sell me a car. Oh, and just found out they don't even have my plate return receipt which I need for tax purposes. When I went to ask for it, they basically told me they just simply don't have it.... Blown away by these people, I have no idea how some of them even have jobs anywhere. Thanks Dulles motor cars for making this the biggest pain in the behind. Never go here. More

Dare to Compare and Go Elsewhere. Misleading and Rude. Too many red flags for me – they appear to be misleading in multiple ways. I would stay clear of Dulles Motorcar Subaru if you hope to get a good price on a new car. Please check the information provided below, do your homework, and hopefully you will save yourself some money. In my search for best price, here is the summary for this dealership: 1) The difference between Dulles Motorcars Subaru’s out-the-door quote and my best quote from another dealership was about $1700. The difference between their quote and the next most expensive quote was about $1200. The added price is not worth ‘establishing a relationship with their dealership’ as one sales manager at this dealership explained to me. 2) Dulles Motorcars Subaru has a ‘110% price guarantee’. It was very difficult to understand what this meant – most employees could not tell me and there is not a description on their website (only “Ask us about our 110% price guarantee”). After multiple email and phone calls, I eventually talked with a sales manager. What it is – if you find a better price AFTER you buy your new car, they will refund you 110% of the difference. Terms and conditions on their website explains how they will arbitrate the refund when disagreements occur but does not explain the guarantee. Best to save your time and find a dealership that will give a good initial price and avoid future arbitration. 3) From my research, they have the highest processing fees of $795 – typical is $200 to $600. They have the highest fees for DC tags and title of $350 – typical is $175 to $200. These excessive fees can make their ‘special pricing’ more competitive and a customer’s need to seek their 110% price guarantee refund much less likely. More dealership profit is made from fees versus the negotiated car price. This is why the out-the-door price is a better measure for comparison. 4) The ‘sales price’ listed on their website does not include delivery while the MSRP does (based on email from internet sales director Tracie Mongold). This may mislead potential buyers (thinking the Dulles Motorcars Subaru price is $850 less than it is) and make it more difficult to compare price quotes from other dealerships. 5) I was very forthright that I was shopping by price, their sales manager could have simply said that he would not provide a quote if I am comparing this quote to those from other dealerships – they may have lost business to other dealerships who match price and give an additional $50 or $100. Instead the sales manager chose to call me, be condescending and ask questions like ‘you haven’t found a good price at another dealership yet?’ I told him I simply wanted his best out-the-door price quote. Tracie Mongold eventually emailed their ‘best and final price’. 6) A ‘Dare to Compare’ banner is on their website that describes how competitive their service is. If I paid an additional $1700 on a new car, I would have to buy approximately 150 of these services to recoup the savings lost through the initial purchase. There has to be something redeeming about this dealership based on the Google reviews (e.g., Tracie Mongold, their internet sales director, was very professional and responsive). Potential customers would do well to be informed and remain alert if/when they negotiate price for a new car with Dulles Motorcars Subaru. Within the Washington DC area, most car buyers have 6 to 10 Subaru dealers within 40 miles, and it is easy to get more than one data point on price. I tried to be fair and accurate for this review, and will gladly change anything if inaccurate. More
Great Car Buying Experience! Stopped in to look for a new Subaru and was pleasantly surprised with the way everything was handled. I was directed to this dealership by TrueCar an Stopped in to look for a new Subaru and was pleasantly surprised with the way everything was handled. I was directed to this dealership by TrueCar and was assigned to their salesman, Eric White. He was a great pleasure to work with--knowledgeable of the product and willing to listen. I never felt pressured to do anything, but found what I wanted in stock, took a test drive, and was able to come to an agreeable price and value for my trade in without the usual hassle. Eric was very low key and above board at all times. Further, once I made the buying decision, the whole process for all the paperwork was handled very efficiently. I highly recommend Eric White if you are interested in this dealership. More

He had the SUV waiting for us and after a quick test drive, my minivan was traded in and we left in our new Forester. I was a little concerned about financing, but it went through to my bank in a couple of days. They also transferred tags from our old minivan. I can definitely recommend Eric White! More
Waste of time Sale person called me on cell (got my info through truecar/carsdirect enquires) saying they have great deals like $1000 under invoice or 1000 cashback Sale person called me on cell (got my info through truecar/carsdirect enquires) saying they have great deals like $1000 under invoice or 1000 cashback. Invited come & visit will give great deal. I informed him saying the car I wanted is not their inventory and their offer is only valid for in stock cars. He insisted me come & visit and he will get the car I wanted from other dealer and still offers me same $1000 under invoice. But when got dealership they showed me their fine print of $1000 under invoice or 1000 cashback applies in stock only. Its one of their sales person mistake... what a waste of time. Don't fall for sales people calls/emails they saying $1000 under invoice or 1000 cashback. More

It was nice to have someone who tried to explain why the Subaru was better than the Ford Fusion by highlighting the strengths of the Legacy and not bashing the Fusion. I would recommend Bryan and Dulles Motorcars to anyone looking for a new car. More

He printed a contract without the 1000.00 cash down payment .He wanted to write it in with a pen, I insisted a new contract be typed and he did. I then saw the fees processing 795.00 (outrageous) then the normal title/tag fee ,taxes and the unbelievable 2495.00 reconditioning/recertification fee. I refused to pay the 2495.00 so after much back and forth they dropped it. The next day I called to tell them we were not comfortable and wanted a refund. Our salesperson Kayla said no problem. After another trip there and silly excuses we got the refund 4 days later. STAY AWAY More
