I brought my car in for routine maintenance today as well as an estimate for some body repair work, and Harold Naipo was the service advisor who assisted me. I have never been so warmly greeted and treated with respect at any dealership. Harold obviously enjoys his work and interacting with his customers. He wasn't just friendly, he was very professional and genuinely helpful with his suggestions and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied and that my questions had been answered. I purchased my RAV4 at Dublin Toyota, and every experience I've had there has been exceptionally good. I highly recommend this dealer to anyone looking to purchase a Toyota, and the Service Department has to be the best anywhere. I have absolutely no complaints, and nothing but praise. I have purchased new cars for over 40 years and had them all serviced by the selling dealer. This, by far, has been the best dealership I have experienced - their work is of the highest quality, it is fast all serviced by the selling dealer. Although the service department is very friendly and they try hard it's just a pain to go there. It takes so many hours to get a basic service done. Hours and hours of sitting waiting for my car. The one time I did take the shuttle, I drove around the entirety of Pleasanton and LIvermore before I finally got home. As I walked in the door I received a phone call saying my car was ready. This time I asked for an oil change and they said it was covered under some plan. Not one of the people who looked at my car looked in the computer to see if I needed an oil change. They were following some "plan." I sat in their waiting room for 2 1/2 hours and all they did was look at my car. Not one person looked at the computer to see if I needed oil. I've taken my car only there for service so they have all of the records. I had called in advance to ask when was the last time I had received new oil and the guy told me. They have the information right there in their computer but not one person bothered to look. All they did was follow the "plan." Definitely no thinking going on, just follow the plan and get her out of there. It was a HUGE waste of time. They actually thought I would let them have the car again right then to change the oil after all that. Who knows how long it would take this time since they were actually going to do some work on my car. Every time I go there it is ridiculous amounts of time waiting for my car. They are slow and if you don't tell them exactly what to work on they will do nothing with your car. More
