Thank you for your business in both cases, and I’m sorry you are having a concern with you newest purchase. Please allow me to point out a couple of things you failed to mention in ALL of your social media responses. First of all, there is a huge difference in purchasing a brand new 2016 Ford Focus Titanium for $25K+ and a 2002 Ford F-150 with 130k miles sold “AS IS” from our affordable budget area. Never once did you sign a document stating this vehicle passed any crazy inspection of 170 points. We are under intense pressure by the public to have some kind of cheap vehicles to sell. Common sense should tell you a vehicle that’s 14 years old and has over 100,000 miles might be more of a gamble. We don’t have a crystal ball, and therefore have no way to see into the future on any used car we sell and neither does any other dealer. I would also like to point out we have a customer relations department for Sales and Service (ext. 206 sales, ext. 227 service)!! 2 separate positions and 2 separate people to help customers with a concern, neither of which received a call, email, text, Facebook, or any other Social Media inquiry about your truck. I might also add if you put the same amount of effort into answering your phone as you did posting your reviews, we could have already resolved the issue. At least 9 people from the dealership have tried to contact you without success including the General Manager, Used Car Manager, Customer Relations Manager, Sales Desk Manager, Sales Team Leader, Salesman, Service Advisor, Resolution Call Center Dept. and Reconditioning Scheduler. I guess since we are forced to resolve this online, here are some options for you: 1- Bring the truck back!!! We had a list of 20+ people in the Antelope Valley who would love to purchase a “One Owner” used F-150 for $6,000 even with an oil leak!! 2- Use your phone to make a call instead of a post online and let's figure out how to resolve your concern. Believe it or not, it was designed for making calls before posting to Facebook!! The log shows you called in multiple times to make sure we didn’t sell the truck to anyone else, so your phone does work. Last point…. The Management at Antelope Valley Ford work xxxx hard to create a teamwork environment while servicing 2600 vehicles and answering more than 40,000 calls each month and now we have added responding to social media complaints like this. I’ve rarely come across a collective group of roughly 115 people that care about customers like our employees do, but it would be nice to have a chance to resolve a concern before it gets broadcasted to the public in a forum like this.
