GIVES TOYOTA A BAD NAME DCH Toyota of Torrance was a big disappointment. My boyfriend called and spoke with Leonardo, told him we were looking for a 2018 Toyota Rav4 XLE & wa DCH Toyota of Torrance was a big disappointment. My boyfriend called and spoke with Leonardo, told him we were looking for a 2018 Toyota Rav4 XLE & was sent a quote. Price quoted was $18,000 which was in our price range. We go to the dealership to test drive the car, asked for Leonardo and was told to wait because he was with another customer. We showed the quote & said we wanted to see the car on the quote. Sales Rep (??) tells us all RAV4's are towards the back of the lot. We told him we looked over there but didn't see any car with price listed at $18,000. He says he would check, but never came back. Finally, Leonardo comes out & tells us he is sending another sales rep to help us because he is busy with another customer. We show him the quote he sent us & said we wanted to see the car on the quote. He said the sales rep will show us. Another 20 minutes walking through the lot, we come across a black RAV4 XLE towards the front of the lot & the sticker price is $22,000. Aaron (sales rep) comes out to help us & I tell him I want to test drive the black RAV4. Well, I really liked the car after driving it & it had everything that I was looking for. We went inside to talk pricing. We were quoted $23,600. That was more than the sticker price, so we said show us the car that we received a quote from Leonardo for $18,000. Aaron says can we agree on the $23,000 price and he brings some other guy (Sean Gibbs) to close the deal. We were told the whole time by Sean Gibbs (Sales Manager) that our price was 23,699. No one bothered to tell us that we were being charged an additional $1,700 for some theft pkg, nor did they mention 3 different service & maintenance contracts were being added for an additional $5,600, and door guards for additional $400. This place is a rip-off. The employees who we dealt with were nothing but scam artists. Toyota will also be blamed because they know what kind of employees they have which makes them just as shady. More
