My experience with Dana during the sales process was great! I emailed him for a quote and he emailed me back every hour answering my questions. If he did not respond to my emails as fast as he did I w great! I emailed him for a quote and he emailed me back every hour answering my questions. If he did not respond to my emails as fast as he did I would not have bought a new car that day. Its hard making a purchase like this during the week while working 10 hours. He was waiting for me when I got off and was very helpful. Scott made the finance part fun. He was very personable and I felt like I have dealt with him before. I have no problem dealing with Dana and Scott in the future when I need another Toyota in a few years. Becky was wonderful in her followup process. I didn't have time to respond to her voicemail on day and she got back with me days later to install a few more things on my car. It was my responsibility to set the appointment however she took ownership of my maintenence and kept calling me. As a manager at a Bank it's nice to know that I can get the same customer service that I give to my customers. Thanks More
I dropped off my car the night before my scheduled service. The standard drop off process was like all the others, quite standard by filling out the information and putting your keys inside a sealed e service. The standard drop off process was like all the others, quite standard by filling out the information and putting your keys inside a sealed envelop. Steven called me in the morning at 9:30 to let me know that the service I had requested had been completed, however, the service mechanic had noticed also that my brake fluid needed to be changed, and also the fuel injection should also be cleaned. Steven quoted me the price for the additional services, should I choose to have them done. The prices seemed quite reasonable so I went ahead and asked him to have these done. Steven also gave me an estimate of when these work would be done. He called me that early afternoon and told me that my car was ready, and asked if I had needed a ride to get there. The entire experience at this service dealer was always painless ever since I have been going there for past 2 years ever since I moved to Torrance. Thanks DCH Toyota. More

I just wanted to My letter to the General Manager: ______ Hi Mr. Mullen, I purchased a 2013 Venza from DCH Toyota last Monday, January 14th. I just wanted to take the time to let you know what an absolute pleasurable experience it was to purchase a vehicle from your dealership. My wife was the first one to stop in and touch base with Al Steele. Shortly thereafter she called me and said that she was treated with respect and assured a fair deal that would suit our needs and budget. We have been researching, dealership hopping, and negotiating for several weeks prior to our visit last Monday. Every step until then was both frustrating and discouraging. And to tell you the truth, the worst experience came from another Toyota dealership. But your team was great. They listened, they were patient, and they answered all of our questions. As you can understand, this is a big step, especially in such a rough economy. But Al and Terry Sefton made viewing and selecting a car painless and even fun. The financial aspect of all this can be that much more burdensome, but Scott Klee was very helpful and genuine. In fact, I've already discussed their great teamwork and assistance with some of my family and friends and have highly recommended your dealership. Al's assistance was terrific; he certainly went above and beyond when I forgot an important business binder in our old car that we traded in, and several days later offered to retrieve and hold it for me. Terry has emailed me a few times since to follow up and ensure everything is going fine. The bottom line is that we weren't pressured or harassed. We didn't feel like we were being taken advantage of, and we felt that your team sincerely cared about getting us the right vehicle to suit our family needs both logistically and financially, with little to no thought about commission or profits. I know you're in the business of selling cars, and the purpose of selling cars is to make a profit; but your team made that seem nonexistent. Please extend my sincerest thanks and appreciation to Al, Terry, and Scott for their great work and assistance. And as for my family, when the time comes, you've got yourself a return customer. I am a firm believer that the disposition and operational dynamics of any team, whether corporate or government is a direct reflection on existing leadership; so to that I say thank you. Sincerely yours, Ricky R. More
The customer service was fair ..it was my second visit to the dealership within the same year and my second visit was as great as the first one but I finally worked out with a nice car and was worth spending the dealership within the same year and my second visit was as great as the first one but I finally worked out with a nice car and was worth spending the whole 8 hours almost at the dealer . Very happy with service and price. All appointments were on time. The test drives were very impressive. Quality of the vehicle is exceptional. I drove a few extra miles but the time and expense was worth on time. The test drives were very impressive. Quality of the vehicle is exceptional. Dealing with Patrick was a pleasure and he did a great job showing us cars we might be interested in buying. When It came to paying for the car, things went well but not quickly. We were paying cash for o job showing us cars we might be interested in buying. When It came to paying for the car, things went well but not quickly. This dealership is a bait and switch. I came in with a printout for a trade in for a new Toyota. They said they would look at my 3-year-old Solara with only 9,000 miles in perfect condition. They kept me printout for a trade in for a new Toyota. They said they would look at my 3-year-old Solara with only 9,000 miles in perfect condition. They kept me waiting 3 hours while they NEVER looked at MY car. All they would say is that my printout from DCH was a mistake and tried to force me into something I didn't want. When I asked for my printout back they refused. The GM, or someone named maybe Morales told me after 3 hours my trade in was only going to be $4,000. I said you didn't look at it and he said they didn't need it!! Then while walking out the door he said how about $99 in car payments??? Are you kidding me!! I'm going to Costco and also telling them NOT to send people here!! Look at Yelp to see what others think about this bait and switch dealership!! I will now go to Manhattan Beach Toyota for all my needs. More
We are writing to you this letter to share our horrible experience in DCH Toyota, Torrance on 09/08/12. We visited the dealership to purchase a new 2012 Toyota Corolla. After we had our test drive we faced experience in DCH Toyota, Torrance on 09/08/12. We visited the dealership to purchase a new 2012 Toyota Corolla. After we had our test drive we faced the following problems. 1) After test drive, we were waiting for the sales person in the lobby for more than 30 minutes while he was smoking outside. Then we asked at the front desk to page him. 2)Then the sales person provided the written notice for the price of $15,500 for the vehicle and an additional charge of approx. $1,500 for dealer installed accessories which were not listed in the notice. On our enquiry, sales person reluctantly took us to the car and showed in the sticker about the dealer installed accessories like car alarm, paint protection, wheel lock and door edge guard. He started blaming the customers not to read that before. However he never showed that to us before we took the test drive. 3)We did not want the dealer installed accessories but the sales person said we have to buy them since they are installed on the sale vehicles. We gave our initial offer of $15,500 on the total final price. Sales person said he would lose his job to accept that kind of offer. Then we asked him to see his manager and the sales person came back with a new notice of sale with $15,500 for the vehicle and $110 for the dealer installed accessories. He mentioned he could not adjust the price on sale price but he adjusted the price of the accessories so it matched our offer. Again no listing of the accessories and their price breakups in the sale notice. Before we accepted that final price we inquired how the accessories worked, and the sales person said finance guy would explain that to us. 4)After the credit check, finance guy was explaining the different products we can also buy like GAP, Auto Care, Car Alarm, Paint protection etc. We mentioned that alarm and paint protection were already installed and those were included in the total price of $15,600 as we were told by the sales person. Then finance guy told we had to pay more to "Activate" those. That was the first time we heard about the word "Activate". He called the sales person and sales person said we did not purchase them until we bought them to be activated. Sales person was being dishonest, very rude and started telling lies. He mentioned that extra $110 was for door guard and wheel locks only. He even mentioned not to deal with the customers like us. Finance guy was listening and apologizing but the sales person was keep on going with no respect and shouting and behaving rudely. Then we asked the finance guy to call the sales manager, who never showed up. Finance guy asked if we wanted to complete the deal and after spending long hours we signed the contract. 5) Finally we accepted the offer and finance guy asked us to collect the keys from the delivery guy since we did not want to talk with the sales person in his bad temper. The delivery guy explained how the car runs. We were happy to get the new car and sad to work with the worst sales person we have ever experienced. Then we reached home and immediately got a call from the dealership that they gave us a wrong vehicle and asked us to come back to the dealership immediately. When we took the car from the delivery it looked the same car we had test drive. We were very tired and asked him to take the correct car to our address instead. 6) Next day morning we had to take the new car to a temple as per our religion. But the car was not starting. It was igniting though. We called the dealership and they asked us to call AAA to get it towed to the dealership. We asked them to send someone to our address. After 30 minutes someone came from the dealership and tried to disable the alarm. But it was not working and then he called the alarm company. Alarm Company came after an hour and took the alarm out. Then finally we were able to drive and leave. 7) We then found out that the door guards were not installed and when we took the car to the dealership they mentioned they did not work on Sunday to install that. They asked us to come at later time. More
We bought a car from CarMax, and then my husband actually got a quote for the same model at DCH for WAY LESS, so we went to check it out. Mark, the online sales manager, sat with us and a Sales associate (Ma got a quote for the same model at DCH for WAY LESS, so we went to check it out. Mark, the online sales manager, sat with us and a Sales associate (Mark can't actually sell cars, but the Sales assoc's can) and he made sure that we got exactly the price he had quoted us. We returned the other car to CarMax, and bought the DCH one instead! The car we ended up with was NEWER than the CarMax car and had LESS miles on it by thousands! Not to mention the priceless Toyota-certified warranty, which CarMax doesn't offer unless you pay some ridiculous amount. Mark and the Sales associate stayed past the dealership's hours to help us work through all the paperwork (we got there late after being at CarMax all day, and since it is our first big purchase as a married couple, we were nervous and read ALL the fine print). Mark and the associate were very patient with us and kind, and answered all of our questions. I didn't want the car alarm because it increased the price, and they were happy to remove it for me! Any time you are making a large purchase like this, you should ALWAYS read all of the paperwork. When you work with humans, there will always be human errors (ever made a mistake at YOUR job?), so be smart with your money and read things you sign your name on! There was a discrepancy on our paperwork, but my husband caught it and the finance guy corrected it immediately and apologized for the error. It was a REALLY great experience, we learned a lot, and they were all very gentle with us. No one tried to influence our decisions at any point, and they were helpful and patient. I would definitely go here again, but I highly recommend getting a quote from Mark first! He is the nicest guy, and you can tell the second you meet him, and he really tries to give customers the best deal possible. We wanted him to get a good commission from us when he helped us get such a low price, and he reassured us that he doesn't GET commission on the cars since he doesn't actually sell them, the Sales people do. That's a pretty darn good guarantee that he has no incentive not to give the lowest price! And just wait til you meet Mark, you'll wanna hug him!! My husband and I both did, and he spent so much time helping us throughout the deal that we feel like great friends now! Where else have you ever heard of people feeling like great friends with the guy at the car lot?? Haha PS: I LOVE my new Yaris!!! Thank you, Mark!!!! More
This place was great and our salesman was fantastic. I have been looking for a car for a couple weeks now and the customer service here was infinitely better than all of the other dealers I went to. They have been looking for a car for a couple weeks now and the customer service here was infinitely better than all of the other dealers I went to. They didn't pressure us to add anything we didn't want and they were open to negotiations. My dad frequently helps his friends shop for cars and has gotten into it with A LOT of car salesmen, but even he said our sales guy Hudson and the finance guy we dealt with were the nicest people he has ever dealth with in car sales.
