First time I've ever had bad service. Went in for my 5K check up and oil change for my 2008 Prius. Had an issue with my engine light on. Service agent said it would cost $170 to do the diagnostics! I always thought they did the diagnostics every time I came in - I decided not to pay this price. Service was to take ~ 2 hrs. I checked back in 2 hrs and service guy was on lunch break. I waited a half hour and then asked someone what to do. They said the cashier could check on the status of my car. Cashier did and got another service agent to close my paperwork. Cashier was great. About an hour after driving home I received a phone call (I let it go to voicemail) from my service guy saying my car was done and ready for pickup. WOW! Lastly, the engine light was off when I picked up the car, however, now it is back on after about 2 weeks. I'm definitely not taking it back to DCH Toyota of Torrance to check out the light. They are usually very good on maintenance issues. More
