Approval with no payment but salesman kept insisting on down My boyfriend and I into the dealership with a pre-approval from a bank. The bank already had all of our paystubs etc that were needed. The transaction should have been smooth, but the salesman Jeff kept insisting on a down payment that was not needed. Our approval was with $0 down, all that was need was for the credit app to be sent to the bank. After going back and forth we were told to go home and they would call us tomorrow. The call never came, so we called the bank and was told that we had been approved all we needed to do was return to the dealership to pick up the vehicle. So, we called the dealership and was told it was ok to come pick up the vehicle. On 2/18/17, my boyfriend returned to pick up the vehicle and was told by Jeff that he needed to put $2500 down to take the car which was not apart of the agreement with the bank. So, my boyfriend stated that he was not putting money down and was already approved with $0 down from the bank, since we had already spoken to the bank and gotten all the specifics of the deal including how much monthly payments were to be. So after being hounded about a down payment that was not apart of the deal with the bank we left without the car we were approved to buy. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a dealership with any salesperson. I would never return here, nor recommend DCH Toyota to anyone More

Since I am in service for my wife's highlander and I just want to asked him about a new 2017 Toyota Camry SE and I had an older Camry that I want trade in. He go ahead appraise my Camry without seeing it just base on my service record and he gave me very good trade in price. we went over to test drive the Camry SE he go through the function and benefit of the car with me.i was so impress by his integrity and price. Ian end up buying a car from him that day. More

Since I was traveling there from OC, I remindeded her in the message that I was there for a specific car, 2014 Volt, and to please call me and if the car was no longer available and save me a trip. I drove to Torrance and arrived approx 12:15. I was told that Angelina was not available and was greeted by another salesman a few minutes later. He brought me the news that the Volt had been sold about an hour ago. The poor of professionalism and lack of consideration is beyond comprehension in today's world. Your emails and and phone calls seem to go out quickly, but it does not seem that there is any communication and cohesiveness in your operations. Frustrated in OC. More
Thanksgiving Day Failure I called the dealership on 11/20/2016 and talked to a very nice young lady to verify if a car ( 2011 Audi A3 Sportback ) was available. She checked for me and said it was and checked for a sunroof on the vehicle. She said she would like to have me speak with someone and could she call me back shortly. I did a notice through USAA car buying service that I was interested in the vehicle. I get a call from another gentleman named Aaron, I told him I was working with this other nice lady that was working with me already. He says he doesn't know why she had she was dealing with me and that he was the Internet Sales Manager and that she didn't have the right to speak for anyone and that she was just a receptionist. So on and so on. I get off the phone with him and call back and asked for a GM. I got to speak with another person named Shawn. I explained what had happened and that I would like to offer $500.00 below their price. He says he will take care of me and Aaron is a good guy. He gives me the how people call and just see if they can get the price down on a good deal, explained they were upside down on the vehicle and could not take any less. I go along. He puts me in touch with Jon, Another Sales rep. Jon worked with me and was great with questions. I ask if could do deposit on the car. in California they can't hold a car with a deposit. First come first served. I had asked if the Dealership could pick me up at LAX If I flew in, Yes, we can. I did a request for the money from USAA and sent a funds check via E-Mail. Things are looking good. I arranged for my wife Marie and myself to fly out from Tucson, Arizona. The first you lady I spoke with, Jazmin worked with Jon and I to get us picked up at LAX on Wednesday morning. She get's us at LAX. What a nice thing of them to do. She get's us to the dealer and hand us to over to Jon. He has the car ready for us to view. Jazmin say's good bye and that she was done for the day and it was indeed her day off. Once again how nice for her to come in on her day off to get us. We walk around the corner to see the car and it's nice. I tell Jon that a piece of the car was missing. A Thule bike rack that was on top of the car in all of the photo's. I tell him that the rack will need to go back onto the car. He goes and speaks with the manager who I spoke with. Shawn comes over explains it should be over in the clean up area or someone could have stolen it off the car. The car needs another small repair on back of the passenger seat and off it goes. Jon comes back with bad news. The rack can't be found. I explain that it was on the car in all of the sales picture. He goes off to the manager again and returns with that they can look for it again on Friday or find one to replace it with. Lot's of folks are off work due to the holiday. We go about about looking for the price of the replacement rack and attachments. Price of about $1200.00. So, I tell him we won't go home with the car unless they do a purchase order and ship it or adjust the purchase price of the car. Once again the manager will replace it with another used or cheaper rack. Nope it's advertised. I tell Jon that I'm getting some really bad vibes about this manager and how the whole deal of that they will not replace the item or adjust the sales price of the car. We had also done some research on the car while we had been waiting. The car has been with them for 60+ days, and the the bait and switch. Jon understands my frustration and apologizes for everything. We tell him that we feel at this point I'm better off getting a rental from enterprise and just going home. We thank him and let him know that we held no ill feelings of himself and or Jazmin. Actually, If it weren't for these two hard working caring individuals we would have not gotten there. Look for one of these two if you go there. They are awesome. *** Break *** My big message is to the GM Chris Hunter and parent Company DCH Auto Group.Take care of your young hardworking folks that are genuine. Please review who works for you, Sir. You have a few that are looking out for their commission check and or stuff they can take from you to make a living. We may just have been only one of customers that were willing to travel 550 miles, give up two day's and about $750 dollars to buy a used car. Excepting that we went home without the cat I had to learn a hard lesson. More

This put her bank account in a big negative balance, and the bank will close her account if she doesn't quickly make it positive. "You can make payments for several months," said Jose, the Sales Manager, when he wouldn't budge on the down-payment amount. Even though my daughter has "remarkable credit" and was able to get the deal all on her own (without me co-signing), they insisted on a down-payment. The problem occurred when my daughter called to arrange the first payment and was told Jose wouldn't be in until the payment was due. When she showed up at DCH Torrance Toyota on the due date, Jimmy the finance guy told her the check was already cashed because it was sent to some main office right after the purchase. Jose just threw up his hands saying, "I'm really sorry, but there's nothing I can do." DCH Torrance Toyota wouldn't return my calls for a week. When I went in and demanded they get my daughter's bank account in the black, some other finance guy said he didn't like my attitude and marched me out of his office saying, "I'm not going to deal with you." I was promised a call from the general manager, Chris Hunter. I never heard from him. I was promised I would get a resolution to the problem after the weekend (because the general manager is "unavailable on Saturdays and Sundays."). I was again promised a call just after 9am on Monday. That was three hours ago. When I went to handle this on Friday, a finance guy escorted me out of his office saying he didn't like MY attitude and wouldn't deal with me. When I said I should announce to his customers how DCH Toyota of Torrance screws their customers, he loudly said, right on the showroom floor, "I don't care!" And that was after I asked some guy at the receptionist desk wearing a Toyota shirt to send my daughter back to the finance office when she arrived. Before I could finish, he looked at me with a sideways glance and muttered, "I don't know who your daughter is." **Jose has since called to say that "Morgan" has once again declined to resolve this situation. Great place I dealt with the salesman via e-mail. Showed up to the dealership with the intent of just looking. I was offered a decent trade in price so I took the deal. They had to go to another dealership 20 miles away to get the exact vehicle that I wanted. (color, trim package, power-train) They were a little understaffed by the time the vehicle arrived, so I had to wait while the vehicle was washed an detailed. That was the only drawback. More
