New Explorer purchase Purchased a 2017 Explorer with help from Cody (salesman), and Steve & Adam (managers). Cody was very knowledgeable about the vehicle in question. Although we couldn't strike a deal on the evening we came in, but were able to finish the transaction the next day with help from general manager Adam. There were some cosmetic issues with the car which Adam saw to correcting. All in all we received the vehicle we wanted for the deal we wanted. There wasn't much more we could ask for... More

We kept the tire took it to tire man he laughter said he could fix it in a minute the screw was jot on the edge. Said he would be glad to talk to ford dealership. Just checked my bank act they have already sent it for $231 .69 we are 89 years old and hAve been tAken advantage of. I will take this further if needed. More

Dan and Brandon did very well, and until we started hesitating, and changing our minds, they were quite pleasant. Still awaiting my charger for my C-max Energi to be shipped to me since it wasnt included with the car, and the rear trunk shade which I was later told wasnt included, as it was an optional item. We didnt think to ask before leaving, after spending 5 hours there. Then that same evening after getting home asking for these two items, then being told only the charger should of been in the car, not the shade. (Why would any vehicle NOT have some type of cover area for a car, leaving anything in the trunk exposed??? We think it was left and taken out prior because it was a loaner car, then they forgot to put it back in upon sale, and now don't want to give it to us. More

SALES MANAGER JARRED BALL DISAPPOINTED CUSTOMER SERVICE First of all I wanted to give thanks to Dan Gibbs for your effort and your professionalism....you treated me with great respect and did everything pos First of all I wanted to give thanks to Dan Gibbs for your effort and your professionalism....you treated me with great respect and did everything possible to earn my business as internet sales manager I've dealt with and was a pleasure that i had spoken to you; unfortunately I was not happy and very disappointed on your Sales Manager Jarred Ball on his customer service and leading into false information with out any proof. I was ready to purchase from you, but dealing with your manager was terrible experience. I will be sending an email to the Ford Corporation and CEO of DCH Ford Thousand Oaks with my complaint of customer service from your Sales Manager. I do have the conversation recorded and your Sales manager was aware. My disappointment was that he was so adamant about me providing my social security before i could purchase the truck i wanted to purchase. I was already approved with my own bank Navy Federal Credit Union which gave me a great rate as an active duty Marine. I have been in the Marine Corps for the past 26 years and counting , i am a 43 year old man that is aware of what is the correct procedure for purchase if I have my own finance and have research what is necessary to provide only. Why do i have to provide my Social security, if i have my own finance provide? He continue to tell me it was a Dealer policy which he could not provide me any relevant proof of the policy that stated that. He continue to argue and was willing to loose my business for me not willing to provide my social security number to him. I have bought two new vehicles in California within the past 2 years and never had any issue with this situation...unbelievable!! If i have my own finance and ready to purchase , why is he stopping the process when i don't need to provide my social security? He continue to come up with different reasons and could not back up the proof. SO DISAPPOINTED, I was ready to buy the perfect truck that had what i needed!! More

It was seamless and a huge blessing! I was blown away at the transaction. We desired something that we thought was untouchable and it happened. We are very pleased! Actually too fantastic. I fell in love with the vehicle because it met all my needs and everyone I dealt with at the dealership just could not have been more helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The down payment was more than I expected and the payment is higher than I should have accepted. Ironically, the people and the vehicle clouded my judgment. I should have held out for the DP and payment that fit my budget better. Everyone at DCH was great. Before, during, and after the sale. More
