Wow, it was almost comical if it weren't for the fact we were really going to buy the vehicle we were looking at. And it is really too bad because he has a very nice sales person who was helping us. Good thing I checked a previous post / review because I thought maybe Adam was having a bad day. Our little event happened when my wife and I started to negotiate a little on the $44K + Used QX80 Infinity with Adam and he acted like he could care less. He started taking personal calls as if I didn't matter. I feel bad because the salesman, Vlad, was great. He listened to us and was willing to help. Who is the owner of this dealership? Adam MUST be in the family because there's no other way to explain it. Or maybe the owner is so wealthy that he/she doesn't care. Anyway, we are off to buy a SUV but NOT from DCH Ford. More
Customer Service In June 2015 I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape at the Kemp Ford in Thousand Oaks, California. I purchased it as a certified used vehicle. I was given In June 2015 I purchased a 2014 Ford Escape at the Kemp Ford in Thousand Oaks, California. I purchased it as a certified used vehicle. I was given the Carfax and there wasn’t any indication that the vehicle was in a crash or that any parts have been replaced. Also, I was not told by the dealership or the car salesman. On October 15, 2016 I had to change my rear tires because they were worn out significantly compared to the front tires. When I received new tires, I was informed that there was a foreign part on my car that did not match the adjacent part. It seemed to be fairly new in comparison to the other part. Because of this, I was not able to get a proper alignment and spend a significant amount of money to replaces fairly new tires and to buy an adjustable arm for the alignment part. I am a reoccurring Ford owner. I had a 2003 Ford Explorer Truck and had no difficulties prior to my new purchase. When I went back to the Ford dealership in Thousand Oaks, it is under new management and a new name. Understandably, they are not liable for the old management. They offered to give me a deal to fix the problem. They later informed me that there are 3 parts that need to be replaced, when I was only told one part. They wanted to charge me roughly $760 to fix the incorrect parts that should have been replaced before placing the vehicle on the lot for sale. I went somewhere else for a quote and they informed me that only one part need to be replaced and it would only cost roughly $320. Overall, due to this foreign part, I had to prematurely replace my tires and replace the foreign part. I was not told of any discrepancies with vehicle upon purchasing it. As a certified vehicle by Ford, a routine check is required, and this part of the vehicle was very obvious when looking under the vehicle. No one seems to want to actually help me. I am constantly thrown around to another department, said that no one can help. Both companies are FORD companies and they are representing Ford. This issue needs to be fixed. More

I should have researched this place and read all of the negative comments first before going in. I kept getting the run around and I was made to feel like I was a burden to them when trying to get service. The GM, Adam, was awful and negligent. Upon further research, I realized that the General Manager, Adam Chirchick aka "Adam C." totally pads his reviews. He posted his own review of the place so as to boost his office's ratings. See the review dated 10/1/16 by Adam C: “5 stars! Excellent sales and service team, always a pleasure to come in to DCH Ford. Much improved over the prior ownership!!!” I looked into his Yelp ratings and he also posted another “5 Star/Excellent” rating for Rusnak on 3/2/15 (which, if you look at his Linked In profile reflects that that is exactly when he worked there as well. He states, “This is the second 911 that I've bought from Rusnak Westlake and each time, the entire staff has treated me very well, they've respected my time and overall it's been an extremely pleasant buying experience. Would highly recommend that if you are in the market for a new or used Porsche, to go visit them. Additionally, the service dept is fantastic.” Wow! What a total fraud! Now that just goes to show you how shady they are if the General Manager makes phony reviews to boost his business. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place! More
