I caught them not changing the cabi Scheduled for routine maintenance of oil/filter change, cabin filter change, air filter change, and tire rotation. I caught them not changing the cabin filter and oil filter (oil was also overfilled), they also left my air hose and air box disconnected. Tires were probably not rotated either as I did not mark them, worn patterns looked the same. Anyways as a previous technician myself, I've seen all kinds of tricks and hacks in the car repair/maintenance industry which left me a habit of marking my parts before sending in my car for service so I know the service is actually performed. Upon receiving my car back I immediately noticed my glove compartment was untouched which led me to believe the cabin filter was not replaced, I unscrewed the cover and found it to be the case. The rep immediately attempted to cover up by stating the technician opened it but put the old one back in and expected me to believe that. He also said oil filter looks new, technician put old one back on too? lol he stopped denying until I showed him my markings. Their explanation for oil overfill was they have an automatic dispenser which always overfill the engine a bit, obviously it is not true, when the technician does not change the filter the extra half quart to a quart of oil is still in the oil filter and housing which led to oil over the capacity when they put in correct amount of oil. The car was sent back to the shop and they had the new cabin filter put in and oil filter replaced, what was shocking to me is they had the audacity to claim the oil filter under warranty which they neglect to replace in the first place as oil leak and have GM pay them additional warranty time. After the second time the car was in the shop, oil was still overfilled and air box was still disconnected, I ended up connecting the hose and air box myself and used a pump to pump out extra oil from dipstick hole. The oil which they supposedly changed came out from the pump was extremely dirty and I kept a sample which plan to have my lab friend to do an used oil analysis to see what kind of garbage is in it. I walked into a Cadillac dealership and expected my Cadillac to be treated like a Cadillac, unfortunately I ended up with nothing but disappointments. Do yourself a favor get your work done elsewhere, don't let their friendliness get you. Fraud is a crime with a smile. More
CTS SERVICE I had my Cadillac CTS serviced there once again as I customarily do. My service manager, Mr. Freddy Baez, carefully reviewed with me all the essentia I had my Cadillac CTS serviced there once again as I customarily do. My service manager, Mr. Freddy Baez, carefully reviewed with me all the essential things that needed to be completed for my car after he discussed it with the mechanic, Chris, who always takes care of my car. He slowly explicated to me the jobs that had to be done. Since there was a lot, he loaned me a car to drive home so I did not have to wait there for hours. When my car was ready, he called me promptly to inform me the car was washed and ready for pick up. This service department gets one with true professionalism and courtesy. It is a good place to have a car serviced and maintained. Thank you Freddy and Chris. More
