I couldn't be any happier with my new Dodge Ram 1500! It's not often you find a sales representative that actually listens to what their customers needs and wants are, But Hector Mecedes at Community D It's not often you find a sales representative that actually listens to what their customers needs and wants are, But Hector Mecedes at Community Dodge in Martinsville, did just that. I could've saved myself 5 weeks of searching different dealerships, and many frustrating hours, spent dealing with sales reps that wasted my time, if I'd just stopped at the Community Dodge dealership in Martinsville and found Hector first. I really couldn't have asked for a kinder and more understanding sales representative. Seriously if your in the market for a new car/truck, stop by Community Dodge in Martinsville, and ask for Hector Mercedes. Below is the thank you email I sent to Hector: Hector, I wanted to thank you for making the process of buying a new truck, a pleasant one. Over the past 4-5 weeks I have test drove many different SUVs and trucks, and spent a lot of long boring hours in several different dealerships. At each dealership I visited I explained up front what type of vehicle I was interested in, and also where I needed my payment to be. Each sales representative I told this to, apparently didn't listen to my request, because every one of them tried to sell me something I had no interest in, that would result in a payment that was higher than the amount I specified I needed. You are the only sales representative that bothered to listen to what I needed and wanted. I appreciate that you took the time to listen to what I wanted, and didn't try to sell me something that I couldn't afford. I also appreciate how quickly you made everything happen. I spent a total of 11 hours at one dealership, and around 6 at another one. I was only at Community Dodge for a few hours, and I drove away with what I originally started looking for 5 weeks ago; a Dodge Ram 1500. It was also extremely generous of you to fill my gas tank up. May not seem like much too you, but a full tank of gas is equivalent to a week's worth of groceries. That's a huge bonus to a single mom with a teenage boy, that has a bottomless pit stomach. My circumstances forced me to buy a new truck, even though I wasn't in a great financial position. Which meant I wasn't your usual happy customer, filled with the excitement that getting a new car brings. But finding a truck I like and actually ending up with a lower payment then I already had, brought me a lot relief. Thank you so much for everything! I absolutely love my new Dodge Ram 1500. Ryan Neely, was excellent to deal with. He stepped up and took care of us (when our first salesman was undeserving of our business). Ryan was hands down everything that you would hope for in 'salesman'. He was always readily available, even on the days when he was scheduled off of work, he was still in contact and keeping me updated regarding my vehicle. I will always remember the most important thing he said when we first met with him, "What can we do to earn your business?". Wow! Way to go! That is how sales SHOULD be. He went above and beyond to make the deal perfect. My vehicle had some issues during the first few weeks. It did not make for a promising start, but John Anderson took care of the problems without hesitation. He did exactly as promised and resolved the problems.
