They did a great job, fixing the exhaust system that I bought there to get repaired because it was a recall and part of an extended warranty. But of course they don’t make money on work like that so they proceeded to tell me that I needed brakes (which I knew) and that I was going to need new bushings, which cost around $1500-$2000 minimum. when I took it to my local mechanic to get the brakes done a couple of weeks later, I asked them to check the bushings. They actually showed me that the bushings look almost brand new. Nothing wrong with them. Never take your car to the dealership for repairs unless it’s a recall and be very wary when they find other stuff needing attention during their “complementary safety check” More
The service dept and there communication was one of the worst-case experiences in my over 40 years of driving and going to dealerships. Customer Services at the dealership has declined woefully. I say that as a customer of 25 years. Clearly some of your customer service staff are overwhelmed with their workloads. Efficiency has bee woefully. I say that as a customer of 25 years. Clearly some of your customer service staff are overwhelmed with their workloads. Efficiency has been reduced, errors are commonplace, and attentiveness to customers is inadequate to the point of rudeness and incivility. It saddens me to see some of your staff so discontent in their work. And to witness such a drop in customer service. Makes me wonder how the dealership employees are been treated and supported by management. I resisted answering prior opportunities to complete repeat survey requests. This go round, my conscience wouldn’t let me. I hope the atmosphere and efficiency in the Flemington, NJ customer service department rebounds. If not, I will look for an alternative to service our two present Subarus. More
