Best auto buying experience ever I loved working with Alex because he really worked hard to get me the car I wanted as quickly as I needed it. I really wanted to keep the phone conversations short and sweet and keep things moving through email and he did that with the highest level of professionalism and the lowest level of annoyance and pressure. Additionally Alex was superb post sales at introducing me to the car's features. He really knew his stuff. My only feedback to the dealership (and this is across the board) is I wish they would expose their extended warranty information upfront to those looking for it. Fortunately I had just purchased a car a few years back and did some research on it prior to showing up. More

I pretty much knew it was what I wanted walking in to Subaru, but I could have used slightly more guidance just on the color schemes, what comes with it, what can I add to it, etc. I must say it was nice not to be bombarded with a ton of sales questions though! Once I did pick out the color I wanted, we ordered the car. I then changed the order and added the moonroof/navigation. Brian made this an easy switch for me and they found the car I wanted in less than 2 weeks. This was a nice surprise considering we thought it was going to take about a month! Brian even dodged some rain drops in order to send me some photos of the car. Overall, my experience with this dealership was satisfactory and pleasing. The one thing I would say to change is the little room you sign all your papers in- it feels very sterile in there. More

This is the first time I have leased a new car, and as a young female I was definitely hesitant to deal with salespeople (especially men) - however, the entire sales staff was incredibly professional, kind, and the experience as a whole was completely stress-free! I was working with two different Subaru dealerships to get the best price for the car, and the experience between the two dealerships could not have been more different. The competitor that I was working with was basically what one would expect from a typical salesperson - pushy, rude, and obnoxious. In fact, I hadn't even physically walked into the competitors dealership (I only spoke with one salesmen over the phone to ask a few questions about the car) yet they continued to harass me for two weeks (calling about twice a day, everyday)! Can you say crazy? At Flemington Subaru, the moment I walked into the dealership it was a completely different vibe - calm, laid back - exactly what I was looking for. My first visit there I met Brian Peters who let me test drive the car despite the dealership closing in 20 minutes - very accommodating! He answered all of my questions, gave me his card, and wished me well - at no point did he bombard me with questions or pressure me whatsoever. On my second visit I was ready to lease the car, and I worked with Brian and Rick Hungerford. The entire process, from start to finish, only took a few hours. They were both very clear and helpful, answered all of my questions thoroughly, and maintained positive attitudes throughout the entire process (it's refreshing to work with people who exude positivity!) I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy or lease a car from honest, hardworking, decent people. Thank you Flemington Subaru! I will definitely be back! More

I had originally started dealing with a competitor and was ready to buy a new Subaru Crosstrek. I left work early and headed over to the competitor. After sitting there for over an hour waiting for the salesman to go back and forth with his manager, my patience was wearing thin. This was my second visit there and they clearly did not keep any records of what had been discussed during my first visit. It was evident that the treatment I received on the second visit with this competitor was significantly worse due to the fact that I had gone there by myself and not with my husband. After walking out of the competing dealership, I called Alex Leist and made my way over to Flemington Subaru just before closing time. Alex demonstrated everything I expect and appreciate from a knowledgeable, no-nonsense, reputable dealership. Within 15 minutes, we had agreed on a fair price for both a new Crosstrek as well as my trade in. I was not treated any differently because my husband wasn't there with me. I have been a loyal Subaru owner for almost 30 years now and thanks to the exceptional customer service I received from Alex & Flemington Subaru, I have forged a new loyalty! More

Afterwards, when I indicated that I wanted to look at some other brands before making a decision, Brian was very courteous with no pressure at all. How refreshing! Months later I returned to buy a Subaru Forester. It was Brian's day off, but Bob Geissler stepped in to help and and wrote up the contract. He was extremely pleasant and patient with questions and helped me to decide on various options. This was especially impressive since he wasn't getting any commission on the sale! Rick Hungerford then finalized the paper work. The overall experience was very good. I had been reluctant to buy a new car because of what my husband and I experienced with another dealer last year. That dealer was very pushy and tried to slip in extra costs at every turn. It was such a relief not to experience any strong arm tactics with Flemington Subaru. I heartily recommend the dealership and the individuals mentioned above. More

Rick spent a good part of a hour going over the vehicle, demonstrating the Navigation, EyeSight, and Audio systems. More

Alex answered my questions promptly and professionally. Never gave me any pressure and worked with me to make the experience as pleasurable as can be. I didn't have worry about the hard sell or any "gimmicks" that typically come with buying a car. I highly recommend giving Flemington a shot at your business. Make it your last stop and give them an honest effort to make you happy and comfortable...I am sure they will deliver. I normally do not rate dealers because the internet can mask sincerity or foster skepticism. However, I felt compelled to do this because I have never had a smoother buying experience. For a point of reference, I have purchased 4 cars in two years courtesy of Hurricane Sandy, and this by far was the best. The finance office that typically tries to "up sell" items did no such things. They merely informed me of what was available and what made sense since I was leasing my car. They didn't try to buy down rates or offer extended warranties or even window etching. It was a top notch experience dealing with all the members of this dealership. I even ordered parts, the transaction was via email and the prices were more than competitive vs. online retailers. I got a great price for the car and parts...believe me, we all do our research and at some point you sacrifice quality for price but I truly feel I got the best of both worlds here. If you are in the area or even if you are not (like I wasn't), you owe it to yourself to just hit ONE BUTTON and give this dealership a shot at your business.
