I'm very sorry that you don't seem to appreciate our way of doing business. We are very proud of the fact that we put our best price online, don't hire any salespeople or commissioned employees and are very picky about what we purchase. From what I recall, you were not interested in buying our vehicle for the price listed after we clearly stated that we are a No Haggle, One Price Dealership. We were very upfront with our business practices and don't want to waste anyones time (especially our customers). I know that you offered us thousands less than our lowest advertised price and then wanted to drive the vehicle. We tried to explain several times that we don't negotiate. We were very upfront about our business practices and that seemed to make you upset. I do apologize if I wasn't able to effectively explain how different we are from your local dealership. We are very proud of the fact that we aren't for everyone. Some clients really do enjoy the Normal Dealership Experience and we are always very happy to admit that. If someone wants the Back and Fourth Negotiating, we are not the place for them. We set up Chicago Cars Direct to be very different and upfront. First of all, I'm very sorry that this customer had a bad experience with us. We very aggressively attempted to contact this client to rectify the situation but he did not respond back to our multiple phone calls and emails. We have no problem with helping a client if they are not satisfied and if they are being reasonable. However, this client did not contact us back after repeated calls and emails. Then, after 60 days, he attempted to leave bad feedback via eBay. The feedback was removed by eBay Motors due to an unreasonable timeframe and non-responsiveness. The reason eBay gave for feedback removal is due to this client is not responding to try to come to some sort of reasonable solution. He complained to eBay Motors over 60 days after he purchased the vehicle. If he was unhappy with the $50,000 purchase, why would he not get back to us within a reasonable time frame? After he inspected the car, if there was a problem, why would you wait two months before calling us? All he would have had to do is send us an email or call us and we would have been happy to help if it was a legitimate concern. Again, the feedback wasn't maliciously removed on our part since we tried on multiple occasions to rectify the situation. To address his other issue, we DO NOT Photoshop our pictures. We're very proud of the fact that we take over 50-60 photos of every vehicle in our inventory. We do this to illustrate the condition and overall appearance of our pieces. To say that we photo shopped these pictures is absolutely untrue. Again, we are more than willing to help if a client has a legitimate concern or problem. After all, in any business, that will happen. We do our best to address these issues if they are warranted and legitimate. However, if a client attempts to use our good will against us with extortion and unsavory tactics - we will not abide. Our mission statement clearly states that we are upfront and honest in our business practices. We are always respectful and honest with people as long as we receive the same courtesy in return. We are very confident that we have done everything possible to try to rectify this situation.
