General manager Bill Maffeo took charge, corrected the unfortunate situation and got me into the car I wanted. I also wish to thank Jim Davis for his excellent customer service and professionalism. On 10/142014 I went to Medved Ford in Castle Rock to test drive a CMAX Plug in Hybrid. I test drove a plug in Hybrid with Eric. I liked the car and agreed to purchase. Eric then pointed to a 2013 CMAX and indicated this car was identical to the one I test drove for a lower price. I asked Eric, “Is this the Energi Model?” Eric said it was. I told Eric and his manager Randy the only reason I was purchasing the car was to take advantage of the $4000.00 federal tax rebate. They assured me I was getting a plug in hybrid for the lower price. Just as I completed the paper work for the car (5 hours later). Randy informed me the CMAX had a recall and I would not be able to receive the car. Randy and Eric said they would find me a similar car. In the meantime I wired $11,000 to Medved Ford to purchase the CMAX. Eric and Randy were unable to find a plug in but kept sending me non plug in replacements. I replied I wanted a plug in like the one I purchased. I didn't hear form Randy or Eric until the first week of November when they asked me to finalize the purchase of the car, and take delivery when the warranty work was complete. I was willing to purchase without delivery so I could take advantage of the $4000.00 plug-in tax credit. Randy sent an Email to me on 11/4/2014 stating , “If I don't receive your response we will take it as you don't want to purchase the vehicle and have decided against the tax credits”. I completed a purchase document on the CMAX with the understanding the car will be delivered after the Air Bag problem is corrected. On 1/28/2015 my wife picked up the car and brought it home. I talked to her that night and asked if she plugged in the car? She aid there was no plug in on the car. At this time I realized I did not purchase a plug in hybrid. I waited 3 months for a NON PLUG IN HYBRID!!!!! NO TAX CREDIT!!! Unable to travel 20 miles in electric mode. I am furious and my wife contacted John. He immediately acknowledged Eric and Randy sold me the wrong car and would correct the situation. John has agreed to take the CMAX back for $7,000 less than I paid and allow me to purchase a new plug in CMAX for 29,000. John crafted a deal which will cost me $9,000 more to get a plug in. This is the worst car buying experience of my life. The lies and deceit surrounding this transaction are beyond belief. More

Post correct hours on your door I got to the service center at 4:10 pm, the sign on the roll up door says open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. I spoke to the service center rep and informed I got to the service center at 4:10 pm, the sign on the roll up door says open from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. I spoke to the service center rep and informed him that I was there for an oil change. He then told me that they aren't accepting any more vehicles for the day, that they stop accepting vehicles at 4:00 pm. If this is truly the case they should post that they actually close at 4:00 pm because this is essentially the same thing. Or at least post no more vehicles after 4:00 pm. While driving away I witnessed all the mechanics putting together new tool boxes, I didn't see any vehicles in any of the bays. My thought is the toolboxes were more important than the customers. Being that I just moved to the area and they are the only Ford dealership in the area this is disappointing. I think I will be changing my own oil from here on out. More

I have purchased from MedVed years back and it is disappointing to see how far MedVed has fallen in the sales and presentation of selling vehicles. I called prior to arriving to ensure the vehicle was at the lot and available (it was - Castle Rock location). 1: The vehicle I looked at was suppose to be certified but I seen no convincing documentation regarding that claim. - Just a window sticker 2: I asked for the MedVed reconditioning report and I was told everything had been done. I asked what was done and I was told everything was done. Disappointing because I don't think anything was done to this truck when it came onto your lot (it was obvious nothing had been done). 3: The vehicle was a total mess under the hood, under the chassis and the interior was filthy from front to back. Mud, dirt, dust, spills on the seats, food crumbs, exterior oily dirty, etc.... How can it be certified and gone through an inspection process and the vehicle be this dirty. Even the DVD remote had caked on mud between the buttons. This is where the sales guy wipes remote on his pants leg. 4: Chip in windshield I pointed out and was told it was fixed. It was not fixed or repaired. 5: Under the hood, it appeared as if there was a major leak (power steering fluid, air conditioner compressor oil, some oily substance) that was fixed and the salesperson knew nothing of a repair or why some body parts looked new and the rest of the engine compartment was filthy. 6: I asked about a click while the truck was running in the engine compartment and was told don't worry about it because the vehicle was certified. What the xxxx is that response ? Don't worry about it ? 7: I asked for a carfax and for some MedVed reason, it was not readily available and never provided. - I suspect this truck had some issues, mechanical and body issues and MedVed was making an effort to conceal what was obvious issues (both under the hood and body). I asked why about the dent in the side and why the lift gate was rubbing the paint off: Response "Don't worry about it". 8: And, for a reconditioned vehicle, you would think they would have put some gas in it prior to my arrival. - We (sales guy & I) had to go fill gas 1st before a test drive. Not a good impression sitting at a gas station. I was asked what price MedVed needed to beat or match and when I provided that price, I was asked to sign a piece of paper indicating I'd buy the vehicle prior to seeing anything in writing from MedVed (what my trade was worth, dealer fees, taxes, my out the door price). I provided written offers from other dealers for the 99.8% same truck and when the Sales Mgr. and Sales person felt they could not compete, I was pretty much shown to the door. I asked for the MedVed offer sheet (I had to ask and insist that the Sales Mgr. show me his numbers) and when he finally printed the numbers we were $5,000 off. I asked if I could have the numbers sheet, and was told I could not take it with me. I left MedVed with no carfax, no business card, no offer sheet of what my trade was worth or what the final MedVed price was for the truck. I don't even remember a thank you. I remember the Sales Mgr. and Sales guy once they realized they were not selling me a truck at that very moment, just walk away and get onto the phone. It was like I had become invisible. MedVed should cover my cost of time and gas for this negative experience. I will be very surprised if someone from MedVed even attempts to contact me and smooth over the customer experience. Shock me MedVed by contacting me. Ball in the MedVed court. David Monument, CO More
What a JOKE Unless you are buying a brand new car from them DONT BOTHER! I know that when you buy a used car you are kind of not guaranteed the best car in the Unless you are buying a brand new car from them DONT BOTHER! I know that when you buy a used car you are kind of not guaranteed the best car in the world. But I went to Medved and bought a used car thinking that they would be better then buying one from the "dealerships" off Colfax...WRONG. I got a 2010 Chevy about 4 months ago and I have already put about $800 into it and now I am about to put another $1000 into it! YAY! And no it has nothing to do with how I drive seeing that I just drive it about 10 miles a day. Also don't bother calling the used car service manager Moody (or however you spell it). I called him to ask him a simple question about my warranty and I have never been treated so poorly by a MANAGER in my life. He was rude and laughed at me when I told him the issues that I was having. Which obviously completely set me off even more then I was originally. Don't go here for a used vehicle EVER they are a joke! More
Excellent Review Medved was great. They had the exact truck I wanted and we were able to reach a fair price for my trade in. Second F-150 from them and I would buy a Medved was great.
