John was amazing! We came into Capitol Subaru after just purchasing a used truck 2 weeks before from another dealer. The truck was horrible and kept breaking down on us We came into Capitol Subaru after just purchasing a used truck 2 weeks before from another dealer. The truck was horrible and kept breaking down on us and we hadn't even made a payment yet, the other dealer would not help us at all, we were stuck with it. We didn't know what options we would have, if any, when we got to Capitol. That's when we met John Mendrin and we told him our situation and he thought they would be able to do something for us. It turned to be a very long day but John made it fun and comfortable for us and it was very low pressure. At the end of the day Capitol was able to get us out of our loan on the truck and get us in to a brand new Forester! We would like to thank everybody who worked hard on our behalf, especially John who stuck with us literally the whole day and has the patients of a saint! Thank you! More

Big big shout out to our salesman Chris Craig for his knowledge regarding the car. His manager Jeremaine who answered our questions with honesty and respect and love of the Eagles!! For the finance manager Mario he is was just amazing to work with. Christy the internet sales manager who went above and beyond to provide fair and accurate information! Used to be a happy customer My story starts two months ago when I took my 2011 Subaru outback for a routine oil change and a recommended 100,000 mile check up. The temperature ga My story starts two months ago when I took my 2011 Subaru outback for a routine oil change and a recommended 100,000 mile check up. The temperature gauge had been lighting up so the thermostat was replaced. Also a brake job was recommended so we said ok. The back brakes were replaced, (a task they had done less than a year before) while the poor condition front brakes were left untouched. No mention of this or any other repair work needing to be done. Total bill was around 2,000 dollars. Fast forward two months to a dark and rainy I-5 clogged with post Thanksgiving traffic...suddenly almost every gauge on the dashboard lit up. We were able to hobble off the freeway in cottage grove and wait 3 hours for a tow truck to tow us to the subaru dealership in Eugene. It was closed so we had to get a motel until the next morning. We were told that our radiator was totally clogged and the head gaskets blown...this less than two months after our well taken care of and hardly driven car was declared totally fine by capitol subaru. No one has been sympathetic in the least, but instead rude and unprofessional. I would not recommend them to anyone who cares about their vehicle!😞 More

The service person I spoke with was both flippant and condescending. After the visit I also received a handful of fairly annoying sales calls. I will not be returning. More
