Our 2004 Ford F350 Diesel had missed an oil change and I knew the tires were in need of replacement although they still had good tread on them, they had massive stress cracks that could mean a blown tire in knew the tires were in need of replacement although they still had good tread on them, they had massive stress cracks that could mean a blown tire in the near future. Not only did Capital Ford replace the tires, they matched a competitor's price so I didn't have to make another trip to a tire dealer. The service advisor suggested an engine flush since we had missed the previous oil change and diesel oil coagulates which could cause a $3,500 repair. The truck only has 48,000 miles on it so rather than take a chance, we had that done as well. Capital Ford was very courteous and arranged prompt shuttle service to work. I had barely sat down in the waiting room when the shuttle driver came in. I would highly recommend Capital Ford for both their service, congeniality and honesty. More

After procrastinating for several weeks. a co-worker connected me online with Capitol Ford in Carson City. I finally made contact with Bill Brown in their sale dept. Considered it my lucky day as he was connected me online with Capitol Ford in Carson City. I finally made contact with Bill Brown in their sale dept. Considered it my lucky day as he was such a pleasure to deal with. I had contacted other dealers in search of new car for my wife's 70th b'day but Bill steered me to exactly what I was looking for so there was no need to look further. As she was thrilled with choice, I know I made the right decision. More

The sales manager, Craig Crevling, searched throughout the territory in an attempt to find a car equipped as we desired and in the requested color. Unfortunately, he could not locate our first color choice but we picked out a car on the lot in another color. Craig was very familiar with all purchase and lease options. The agreed upon price was consistent with our expectations. Rick and Craig were an effective team and both had an enjoyable sense of humor and were a pleasure to deal with. I took my 2012 Ford F150 in for Oil and Filter Change, with a tire rotation. I specifically asked that my truck not be lifted by the frame as I have air bags installed on the rear axle. The air bag manu with a tire rotation. I specifically asked that my truck not be lifted by the frame as I have air bags installed on the rear axle. The air bag manufacture warned against lifting the vehicle by the frame as it will damage the air bags. Jullianne made note of that and my truck was moved into the service area. After about an hour I was concerned about the length of time taking to get my truck serviced. I found a window in the door looking into the service bay and saw my truck lifted by the frame and the rear axle was hanging by the springs and air bags. I went into the service rep's area and got Jullianne and took her to the window and showed her how my truck was being serviced by lifting it by the frame. She went directly to the Technician and confronted him about lifting the truck by the frame when he was directed not to do so, and he advised her that it was Okay. During the service the technetium said he found a transmission leak. I was notified by Jullianne that the Service Manager wanted to keep the truck for further testing. I called my wife for a ride home leaving the truck with Capitol Ford. The Service Manager called me by phone and advised that he needed to put some dye into the fluid and take it for a 75 mile drive to determine if the transmission was leaking or the oil leak was coming from somewhere else. Later that day I was notified that the transmission was leaking and new seals needed to be installed. It would take a couple of days to do the job, and the transmission needed to be removed to complete the work. We had made plans for a trip and had paid in advance for a RV space in the Napa Valley on the following day. I advised that I needed the truck and would see about getting the leak taken care of after I returned. We picked up the truck and paid for the service completed. I asked for the multipoint inspections sheet and was refused it, saying that it was tied to the warranty repair to be done. We brought the truck home. I crawled under it and removed the fiber panel exposing the transmission and bell housing. To my surprise there was no sign of a leak. I checked with a flashlight, and stuck my fingers every where I could reach and found no fluid leak. I called another Ford Dealer out of town and had a long conversation with him over the alleged oil leak. He advised me to make my trip and after we return he would be happy to give a second opinion. We returned from Napa Valley having driven approximately 750 miles during the trip. We made an appointment to have the second opinion of the leak. They removed the fiber panel and found seepage between the bell housing and the transmission. They lifted the truck on a drive on rack and not by the frame. They felt it could be a seal leak or possibly a leak from the torque converter. They needed the truck for two days and offered a courtesy vehicle for us to use while the repairs were made. The Courtesy vehicle was a 2012 Ford Escape. Not a ride to Enterprise Rentals like Capitol Ford where you are responsible for daily taxes of $37 and insurance of $20 per day. The other Dealer did and exceptional job and treated us like we were the Customer not the other way around. The leak was from the Torque Converter which had a defective weld. They did not damage my air bags and returned our truck cleaned. It was a pleasure to work with them and we will make the drive to have them service our vehicles in the future. More

When I asked for a description of why the recommended work needed to be done after I had a service appt where I spent 1100.00 which the dealer wanted 1000.00 to repair. The repair was to the down pipe fr work needed to be done after I had a service appt where I spent 1100.00 which the dealer wanted 1000.00 to repair. The repair was to the down pipe from the turbo. All the dealer would tell be is it got old. They either would not or could not specifically tell me what was wrong with the down pipe. I got a second opinion from an independent service shop and they could not find anything wrong with the down pipe. Selling service that is not needed. Beware of this dealer. I tried to contact the service manager by phone and email and he would not respond. More

Valente Duarte was not overly friendly or fake. He let the product speak for itself. We appreciated the fact that he at no point put pressure on us or lied about the product in order to make a sale.
