Mung was the salesperson for my fiancé and I. He made sure our needs were met. I really liked how he was able to answer all of our questions. He didn’t hesitate to help us get what we needed. Don't go there if you want service on time. Made an appointment for 1:00 to get a new FOB and have it programmed and they said it would take about 1.5 hours. When I got there they told me the Made an appointment for 1:00 to get a new FOB and have it programmed and they said it would take about 1.5 hours. When I got there they told me they couldn't guarantee that I would get service that day. I told them I'd wait if they could get to me that day. Then they said that I wouldn't get a key with the FOB. I told them would not wait all day and then not get service. All this for only a FOB. I talked to another women who was waiting for her service and she said since Capital City Honda took over, they are very disorganized. She also had an appointment and they couldn't guarantee she would get serviced that day, so she left. Why do they schedule more appointments than they can handle? I will never go there for service, and I certainly won't buy a car there. More
Buyer beware! I signed all paperwork to purchase a 2022 Honda Accord and wanted to see how the KARR security system works and how to access it. My sales person A I signed all paperwork to purchase a 2022 Honda Accord and wanted to see how the KARR security system works and how to access it. My sales person AJ discovered the system had not been installed although the paperwork says they did install it. I asked to see the invoice for other installed features, but conveniently they did not have access to those documents on a Sunday. I personally believe as a 20 yr sales professional, I should not need to ask for the invoices, they should have been included in the rest of the paperwork. I would suggest asking for the invoice of dealer installed accessories before taking delivery or signing the paperwork. My experience was so bad I’m filing a formal complaint with my state regulatory industry agency. More
I used their website to make a archive appointment for fuel pump recall and B1 service a week in advance. Requested a rental and received electronic confirmation. Showed up on time, at 7:30, on a Saturday fuel pump recall and B1 service a week in advance. Requested a rental and received electronic confirmation. Showed up on time, at 7:30, on a Saturday morning and was told they did not have any rentals left. Stuck waiting 40 minutes for shuttle and had to cancel some fun plans for the day - it was a saturday. Even showed them the confirmation email for the rental and they would not provide rental. Not a good business practice. They should either disable the website appt capabilities or personally follow up on each appt prior to the appt date. This is a management issue - the customer service rep, who handled the situation well, was just stuck on the front line. I will be exploring other options. More
Timeline and description of events. On December 29 of 2021 I received a text from Capital City Honda from Neil Hindi as to the inquiry of the 2021 GMC truck I was interested in. I asked because I work in 2021 I received a text from Capital City Honda from Neil Hindi as to the inquiry of the 2021 GMC truck I was interested in. I asked because I work in the Bay Area if they could hold the truck until I could come to the dealership. I was told no we cannot hold the truck. I replied back Okay, I'll think about it, as I am not going to get my hopes up if they cannot hold the vehicle. December 30th I receive a text from Neil that he has spoken to his manager and if I can come in a sign for the vehicle, they will hold it for 5 days. I reply, thank you, I work in the Bay Area and can try to come in this afternoon or tomorrow morning, being New Year's Eve, and Neil replies New Year's Eve is fine, we have short hours. I texted back I will be there at 10:00 am. The following morning I receive a text that I am to ask for Georgio, the text was received at 9:46 am as I am walking through the doors of the dealership. I ask for Georgio, moments later Georgio appears and says he will get the keys, My wife and sister meet me outside and walk towards the truck and start looking at it, Georgio then walks up and says the truck has been sold. Another salesmen standing nearby says, I sold it last night. I said why wasn't it on hold? No one replied. My guy actually hurts at this point. I texted Neil back and said, they say they sold it, no reply, I text him again, no reply. I sent the general manager Devin Smith an email, which was an automated email he must send out when you inquire about a vehicle. I detail the events and received no response, I sent a follow up email and received no response. I wrote a review of Capital City Honda on CarFax and almost immediately received an email from Devin Smith General Manager of Capital City Honda, He states he has checked with his staff and wasn't able to identify at any point where I was lied to, which was stated in the CarFax review that I was lied to. This person only wrote me because I chose to write a review in a negative manor regarding his dealership. So to dissect his comment about being lied to, If you are told that a vehicle is going to be held for 5 days and it is not, is that a lie? It is in my world. See a person is only as good as their word. One who does not understand the meaning of keeping their word needs to be taught a lesson on truth. I am the type of person that will take this issue to my grave! I know there must be a joke about truth and car dealer out there, I probably no a few myself. The truth is the General Manager waited 13 days to respond and only after I posted a negative review on CarFax. Must be a new, time management thing. This after I had already replied to his initial email. In short, do yourself a favor, avoid dealing with this dealership and please post any issues you may have had. More
