Was told the parts were ordered when I set up appointment but told by the service rep that they did not have the parts. At one point there were up to 40 vehicles waiting in line with service reps making no effort to speed up the process. When the food truck came around many employees just disappeared. Was told they would write up an order and get back to me when the parts were available. This place is no Mel Rapton and I will go elsewhere for service. By the way several members of my family have noticed a decline in service since Capital Honda has taken over ownership. They spend time taking pictures of your car writing something down on a tablet and then make you come inside for additional paper work. Use at your won risk! More
I’ve been a Mel Rapton Honda loyal customer for over 20 years, I left for a Toyota for 4 years got terrible customer service & came back. I waited 3. 5 hours for them to complete an oil change. After waiting 3 hours I went and asked what was going on. The service rep Ryan did not update me on whethe 5 hours for them to complete an oil change. After waiting 3 hours I went and asked what was going on. The service rep Ryan did not update me on whether or not they were going to perform the recall work(that did not even need to be done) he said they had just finished the oil change and it would be another 3-4 hours for the recall work. He knew I was waiting in the lobby with my 3 small children. I told him I had to go so he had them not perform the recall work and pulled my car to the front. He also lied and said that we had no free oil changes left. That was not the case. We had one free oil change left that expires in December (it did not expire from the mileage). And my husband checked our previous service paperwork and the recall had already been taken care of in our vehicle he was just going to have them do it again probably for some sort of compensation. Once I got in the car I noticed my right mirror was folded, when I went to go open it I noticed the top had several scratch marks on it. I did not have time to go and make a claim on that but I have never had such terrible service at this location. More
