This place sucks!! I wouldn't buy another car from this dealership if it was the last place on Earth to get one. I had a positive experience with a purchase about 6 months ago of a used car from them. So, then I needed another car, I returned to Capital in July. The one that was listed was in Greensboro. I was told it could be transferred to Raleigh the next day. Now, short story. I drove the car down the road about a MILE and noticed the strong pull to the right as did the previous customer on their car. I returned immediately...thought it was alignment. The tech didn't work on Saturdays, so I was told to bring it back, which I did. They did the alignment, but said it didn't need it. They didn't even look to see what the problem COULD be. The salesman Chas refused to drive it. I could have had a wreck with it because I took it to another dealer and they easily told me what the problem was. I could have written the whole review submitted by the previous customer, because the exact same thing happened to me I know the car was used...an older model, but it had only 82,700 miles on it. Now the paint is chipping off of it. Yes, it was "as is". But, I thought that these problems would have been pointed out to me presale, or at least, taken care of immediately, no questions asked. I paid cash!! I do love the car otherwise. Now, I have to shell out more money that I don't have to fix these problems. Hope everyone reads this including Capital Chev!! More
Terrible! It has been less than 2 weeks since we purchased our car from Graham and Justin. During our test drive Graham had us go on some back roads where the speed limit was no more than 55 mph. We were sold on the car and proceeded with the purchase. On the way home we were on the highway and noticed the car had a shake and pull on the steering when we hit 60-70 mph. Assuming it was just a simple realignment needed we made an appointment with a local mechanic. They informed us that the car needed $1k worth of repairs as the front struts were bad and the swaybar links needed replaced. We immediately called Graham at the dealership regarding what they would do to make it right since they clearly sold us a car with mechanical problems. After going back and forth with him and attempting to speak with his manager they continued to not want to help us, because we didn’t purchase their expensive extended warranty and the car “passed” a state inspection. They have lost us as a future customer and we will be sure to let everyone know to stay clear of them when looking to purchase a new OR used car. More

I sent a email to the dealership complaining and was told I would be hearing back from someone over a month ago and still no word. My brother is disabled and can’t afford to spend any more money on it right...please don’t take your car there for repairs , More

The closing officer made mistakes in the transfer of the vehicle tag that is now resulting in us incurring another $280 in taxes. How can you buy a car from a company that can't even admit they made a mistake. Listen to this...I have asked repeatedly for them to send us a copy of the forms we signed that they said they would do. 2.5 months later I do not have that either. They also promised me a $25 Amazon gift card if I test drove a vehicle. After repeated emails, they finally did this today 6/13.. This was my third car to buy from these people and I can assure you it's the last. They also lost my future service visits which will cost them way much more down the road.. One Star review...rightfully earned. More

Don't use their online quotes 1st thing Gabe is awesome. However Darell and Ruben are the worst and I would never use this place for purchasing anything. First off they have a website that says get your best price quote for a vehicle but did not honor my quote. I believe it may be because I don't have Tier 1 credit. I was told after the second time of being asked to come in that no bank wants to touch me. Now you come in they take a questionnaire that asks you what you are willing to pay monthly and your financial etc. However the way I was treated I felt like a low class citizen. I refused to put money down because this is not my first time at the rodeo they try to get money in hand to line their pocket on top of their commission. Plus I felt as if my vehicle trade and my Gm supplier discount would assist me with my purchase of a Chevy Spark or a reliable vehicle good on gas that would be in my price range. However the deals I was presented were more than I wanted to pay and I was talked to in a way that when you are a customer and you are trying to assist them you shouldn't be abandoned to make other deals or take personal phone calls when doing business. This allowed me to know that I will never come here ever again. Now if you have Tier 1 credit or have thousands of dollars to put down then these guys are for you. More

They seem to only give you the time of day when you are spending money and when you need them afterwards, they refuse to answer calls. I have tried calling literally 50+ times and every time it hits a voicemail or someone directing me to the finance department which results in a voicemail. On top of all of this, I tried cancelling an extended warranty in the 60 day time period in which I could still cancel it and received instructions to send a email with info to get in cancelled. After doing so, I had no reply back and then later learned that it was never cancelled costing me $1000. Trying to call them to sort this out is impossible; they refuse to answer any calls and even when trying to go there in person, I waited for 2 hours until I finally left and gave them a number to call me at. They have never called in despite the 10+ voicemails I left with my contact information and going there in person. I believe the only way to get their attention is going there in person and yelling at them directly. This is absolutely ridiculous and should in no way be how a business is run. If it says anything, this is the first review I have ever posted online and it is due to sheer frustration; do not do business with Capital Chevrolet if you value any ounce of customer service. More

First i got a good price without all the xxxxxxxx up front that I was getting from dealers in my area which is SW Florida, secondly they process of buying was seamless and exactly as quoted without any issues and then I flew my son in to get the truck and drive it down to me they treated him with respect and honesty. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle please got see these guys they are the best. More
