Warranty battery replacement. Took 30 plus minutes with “jumped” engines running to get car checked in. I do not remember the service agent I worked with. “jumped” engines running to get car checked in. I do not remember the service agent I worked with. More
Nick, Buddy, and Mike are fantastic! They make the purchase experience so pleasant and fun. This is the 4th time we have purchased from Capistrano Volkswagen, would not even consider another dealer! purchase experience so pleasant and fun. After 4 years of having my 3 golfs serviced at Capo VW. I decided to take one of my cars for an oil change at another shop. I knew I needed front brakes. After this other shop performed the oil change, the decided to take one of my cars for an oil change at another shop. I knew I needed front brakes. After this other shop performed the oil change, they told me I needed: 1) Rotors and Pad front and Rear 2) Thermostat Housing w/Water Pump (even though no sign of leakage) 3) Timing Cover gasket and seal 4) Brake Fluid Flush Total Estimate $2,174 Brad at Capo VW has been my service writer for 4 years. I brought the car to him, it turned out all I needed was front brakes and fluid flush. This cost me 1/3 of what the other shop told me what I needed. Thank you for your honesty and integrity Brad. Dealership did the job on the car fine. My poor experience has to do with the service department. I'm used to service departments being more friendly as they explain what is wrong with car and what experience has to do with the service department. I'm used to service departments being more friendly as they explain what is wrong with car and what is needed. The person I dealt with was rude and maybe it was a one off experience. On the fence if I would use them again More

Joey at Capo VW got it done for me. They had the car I wanted, they were close enough on price and Joey had me in and out of there in less than 45 minutes, as I have zero patience and I'm not so fond of t wanted, they were close enough on price and Joey had me in and out of there in less than 45 minutes, as I have zero patience and I'm not so fond of the typical car dealer experience. I think I left some room on the table as far as the $ goes, but time IS money and Joey worked well with my high level of impatience to get me out of there ASAP. Steve Smith did a great job on his end in the Sales Manager's office and the F&I was easy enough as well. This is a smaller VW-only dealer in the traditional Southern California style, and sometimes you want to support a business that seems like they have enthusiasts working there. I haven't taken it in for service, but as long as they provide a loaner car, I'll give them a chance over my much closer VW dealer. I would recommend Joey and all the other staff members I encountered, and I would certainly look to buy a car from them in the future. This was one of my least amount of car dealer BS purchases that I can recall, and I buy a lot of cars. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to people that are looking to purchase a VW in Southern California. More
I got my car back and the dealership had it for a week. I live an hour and 45 minutes from the location. My car wouldn’t lock, and that was NOT what I had brought the vehicle in for. Instead of offering to f live an hour and 45 minutes from the location. My car wouldn’t lock, and that was NOT what I had brought the vehicle in for. Instead of offering to fix the problem that had not been there prior to my visit— the dealership did nothing to help fix the problem. They wanted to charge me and make me drive all the way back and pay for the new problem that they had caused. I was out of having my car for a week and they didn’t even offer me a rental if I had compose yourself bring the car back. The dealership didn’t even offer a refund or to fix it with no extra charges. I had wanted to purchase a new vehicle here but went with another Volkswagen dealership because they offered more solutions. More
