VERY unsatified 0 stars Here’s my rant.... Take it for what it is. This is for Brown Motors. I have to say my personal experience has been awful, and I will never go back. Here’s my rant.... Take it for what it is. This is for Brown Motors. I have to say my personal experience has been awful, and I will never go back. In May I bought a truck, 2007 Ford F-150. Two weeks ago I went to go back out of a driveway and my reverse wouldn’t work that was Saturday August 3rd. I was told that I could drive it until my appt (last week in August)..... well that Monday August 5th, it wouldn’t go forward once in drive. Tuesday I talked with a Team member of Brown Motors, and said, I couldn’t get a “rental vehicle” because my truck wasn’t in their shop to get fixed. And that nothing in life is free... that really stands out in my mind...... NOTHING IN LIFE IS FREE...... I said, yeah no xxxx nothing in life is free. I just bought a truck from you two months ago and I paid just over 11,000(including the 3000 warranty) now this happens... I’m still paying for a truck that I CAN NOT use. I get it towed to Brown Motors Tuesday August 6th..... Thursday they were supposed to look at it in the morning... I called around 4:45pm they still hadn’t gotten it in. So after 6 pm I was called but didn’t get to it (family time). Finally got a quote on Monday...... to fix 3 calipers and replace the brake pads it would be $1400( by the way, only the front left wheel was taken off) and followed by and that’s if the back calipers need to be replaced..... THEY DIDNT EVEN LOOK.... So fast forward to today. I called Conway Towing to have my truck towed to Brakes By The Bay( Brent Truman and the staff are fantastic). The service department at Brown Motors WOULD NOT release my truck..... said my card was declined (they never had a card on file). Brown’s charged me $119 dollars to take off my front tire..... I have to say shame on you. 110% shame on you and I can not believe that this is the way you do business. I didn’t have my truck for 6, 8 or 12 months. I had it for 2.... 2 months and the breaks completely failed..... this is all on you. I can’t believe you’d even sell or have a vehicle knowing something like the brakes/ rotors/ calipers are bad. There is NO WAY you as a company, sales, service department did not know about this. The day I bought it, it was in the shop getting a new bumper..... you new.... The way you deal with customers is unprofessional. Sometimes in life we need to own up to our mistakes.... My mistake was trusting your company and buying a lemon.... Would it be cheaper for you to pay a lawyer for small claims court, or to fix my rotors, calipers and break pads? I do not recommend 0 stars an update as of today August 23. Still can not drive the truck. The u joint also went. This is the truck that your company sold me. I'll be sending you a copy of my bill. I can't believe you'd put a vehicle like this out on your lot. you have qualified mechanics........ You charged me $119 and did absolutely nothing. This is how you do business, and screw people in the process. I cant wait to see what else is wrong with this truck that I bought from you. I will NEVER recommend Brown Motors to anyone. Bree B. More
