I had the 90,000 service on my Prius done yesterday and the car was ready before the promised time. There was also a factory recall on a software program which was also taken care of at the same time. Jaime assisted me in explaining the service and he kept me informed on the phone throughout the morning. I am glad this service center is so close and so convenient to us. More

Big Joe is the "go to" guy for sales and leasing. The service staff do the best they can, usually promising routine repair service will be completed by a certain time, and then beating their promised time by half an hour or more. Not everything can be done immediately. Sometimes they are busier than others. Sometimes an obscure part has to be located. But there is always good communication, there is a shuttle service if needed, and a rental car can be hooked up if required. I would not go anywhere else. More
Frustration with routine service I’ve had my 2004 4Runner serviced at Bob Smith Toyota for the entire fifteen years I’ve owned my SUV, and I’ve been extremely pleased. Unfortunately, I’ve had my 2004 4Runner serviced at Bob Smith Toyota for the entire fifteen years I’ve owned my SUV, and I’ve been extremely pleased. Unfortunately, on my latest 195,000 mile minor service appointment, I was told my radiator cap was cracked and needed replacement. They said the part was not in stock, so I was told I’d have to leave the vehicle with them until the next day. Out of curiosity, I called an auto parts store only a couple of blocks away from the dealership and discovered they had a compatible radiator cap, and for half the price the dealership was charging me. I understand that they prefer to use only Toyota parts, but this was only a radiator cap. I would have hoped that, with fifteen years of loyalty to the dealership, they might have demonstrated a “customer first” approach at, at least, given me the option of using the after market part rather than having my SUV held hostage for the additional day. It was disappointing. More

However the service experience I had yesterday was extremely disappointing and a complete waste of my time. I had brought my Toyota Tundra in to have several door dings repaired. However after my truck had been in the service center since 8am, I was called at 4:30 (after I called and left a message asking what was happening), I was told that yes, my truck was approved to have the door dings repaired, however that I would need to schedule another appointment for that. So basically, I had to reschedule my day yesterday to have my truck repaired only to find out that no repairs were done. Completely disappointing and completely unacceptable. More

REGULAR SCHEDULED SERVICE SCHEDULING THE SERVICE WAS QUICK AND CONVENIENT. ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORK TO BE DONE WAS QUICKLY SCHEDULED. WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHIN THE PROMISE SCHEDULING THE SERVICE WAS QUICK AND CONVENIENT. ARRIVED ON TIME AND WORK TO BE DONE WAS QUICKLY SCHEDULED. WORK WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITHIN THE PROMISED TIME. I HAVE BEEN SCHEDULING WITH JOHN SUBEE FOR MANY YEARS AND HE IS VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE TWO VEHICLES THAT I OWN WHICH MAKES IT VERY EASY TO IDENTIFY REQUIREMENTS FOR EACH VISIT. Not so adequate service on last visit I put yes on recommending Bob Smith Toyota because normally the employees are knowledgable and very polite and service is above adequate. This last t I put yes on recommending Bob Smith Toyota because normally the employees are knowledgable and very polite and service is above adequate. This last time though was less than satisfactory. Apparantly the manager had messed up on scheduling and there was only two service advisors for every customer waiting. My car was done in a more than reasonable time but afterword it had a very unusual and strong idol. I took the car back twice in the same day and was told that it was normal because of the service that was done on the battery and it would go away. It still has not really improved andthough they offered that I could come back, it seems unnecessary that I have to take time out of my work week schedule to bring the car back when I had brought the car in, not once but twice in the same day which gave them plenty of opportunities to check on what was causing the unusually rough idol. Also, when I went to pay for my oil change the service advisor had charged me for the service which ran over $100 when I pay through my monthly car payment for the no charge oil changes. They did fix that issue quickly. It could’ve been a common mistake. I have a feeling it had something to do with them being down two service advisors. More
