Rude Salesperson I had such a poor sales experience I've decided to just buy a bicycle. Sales manager does not respond to request to speak to him. Glad I found all this out before I got a car from them and had a problem with it! I see what I could expect in the way of service if they are so rude and unresponsive when you're trying to BUY a car from them! More
Service Center I had my car towed to this place because the first shop I took the car to couldnt figure out what was wrong I was contacted by chris codd i told him e I had my car towed to this place because the first shop I took the car to couldnt figure out what was wrong I was contacted by chris codd i told him exactly what was going on my gas gauge and rpm was jumping back and forth as we spoke over the phone he insist that he would fix the car the estimate he gave was a lil too much so he wouldnt start perfoming work on the car until i told him it was ok. So i said ok He then tells me the car is ready i go to pick up the car and the same problem is still occuring here i am a month later still trying to fux the problem and the service director robert scott never picks up the phone or return calls this is the worse dealership in rochester ny. Should be taken out of business. More

I was surprised When I received a bill a month after I purchased the vehicle. My salesman had me send him the bill, only to find out that they got me a loan through a different bank so I didn't get that deal. I was never told this even after I inquired numerous times throughout the buying process. So I called to talk to a sales manager and was put through two different times to their voicemails. I left messages, marked urgent, and never head back from either manager. That's just terrible service. Question everything when you buy, they didn't live up to their sale. More

leasing experience Laurie Flagg was a great person to work with. She showed us several cars that would fit our budget. We took our selection for a spin and said YES. Paperwork took some time due to tecnical problems with fax machine and insurance company delay. However, Laurie was able to weather the storm and the deal was comleted. Every one at the dealership was friendly and helpfull. I will buy or lease wth Bob Johnson Chevrolet in the furure. More

First Time Lease buying experience As a family we added a new driver. Our desire to buy a new car was there but didn't think we could afford two cars for the price of one. Bob Johnson and sales rep Bert Marlatt changed that experience. We were able to trade in one SUV and able to lease two Vehicle's without added cost. We benefit now with more flexibility in our schedules. Our fuel cost will go down and reliability of new cars make us feel safe. Chevy has some great programs to allow todays car buying experience affordable. Bert and staff were all friendly and no pressure as we worked thru the decision process of what vehicles will fit our needs. Great experience all the way around. More
Cannot even begin to tell you how bad of a service experience we had with the entire service department. I have been buying cars from this place for 15 years, and my family has for way longer. I bought a 2006 Pontiac GTO last fall (2012) and couldn't be happier with the experience, except when I tried to contact them afterwards about needing a key for the glove compartment. We arrived on the lot on a Sunday morning just before 11. We drove around the lot and saw the exact vehicle we were looking for. Steve walked over to us and asked us if we wanted to go for a test drive. W We drove around the lot and saw the exact vehicle we were looking for. Steve walked over to us and asked us if we wanted to go for a test drive. We didn't realize it but the dealership is sometimes open on the last Sunday of the month. Steve introduced us to the finance manager who was able to arrange our financing that same day. We picked up the car after undercoating and UV protecting gloss coating was applied. When we noticed a problem with the weather stripping we brought it to Steve's attention and he told us he would take care of it. As the parents of two year old triplets we do not have enough child care to drive a vehicle to the dealership and back even though they are very close to where we live. Steve helped with getting the vehicle to and from the shop and even stopped by to get our signature on the replacement title for the trade in (we moved mid last year and have still not completely unpacked). When ever we perceived there might be a problem to completing the transaction Steve was always quick to suggest and then follow through with a solution. We were very happy with the overall experience and never felt like we were being "sold" to. All of the conversation was just friendly talking. We wanted to buy and they wanted to sell. It was the best car shopping and buying experience in my life. More
