We had an awful experience At another local Chevy dealership so we decided to go to bob Johnson...best decision ever! Never in our lives have we spent so little time on a car deal!!! Everyone was extremely friendly and the finance guy worked particularly hard just to get us financed!! No games..no hassles..no lies...def recommend! More
Last Year I purchased 2 vehicles from this dealer. One of the vehicles was a used silverado pickup it was a 2002 so it was 9 years old when purchased. Less than a year later I bought it in for service and th the vehicles was a used silverado pickup it was a 2002 so it was 9 years old when purchased. Less than a year later I bought it in for service and the repair bills were costly. I did have an extended warranty but out of pocket expenses were high.After talking to my sales associate,used car manager and service personnel I felt issues were not getting resolved. A sales associate advised me to talk to either the General Manager or the Owner. After talking to the right person, which was the General Manager my issue were resolved. The General Manager and owner do not want unhappy customers and are more than willing to right any wrongs. They went out of their way to resolve this issue. I will recommend and buy from this dealer. Before writing a bad review talk to the right people and I am confident they will make your experience a good one. More
The service department is very friendly I have never had a bad experience or had service that was less than 100%. I would like to mention the particular mechanic who is the reason I choose Bob Johnson to service both my vehicles and that is Dave Secash. I am not sure if the mechanics ever get recognition since they do not directly have contact with the customers. His work is meticulous nothing less than perfect and I never have any doubt that my car will not be fixed correctly or that he will never know the solution to the fix. More

My wife was in need of a dependable year round vehicle. I located a a used Saturn Vue online at the dealership. I was not able to go with my wife to test drive it so I called to speak with a salesperson abou located a a used Saturn Vue online at the dealership. I was not able to go with my wife to test drive it so I called to speak with a salesperson about the vehicle and to inform him that my wife would come by after work to test drive it. I felt bad having her go alone because every salesmen I have every delt with were slimeballs with the exception of Saturn people. But they are no more. I must have been very lucky or the stars were aligned or maybe it was just Karma, but the operator dericted my phone call to RANDY KLATT. He was very polite on the phone and assured me he would take care of my wife when she would come in later that evening. She arrived and drove the car and liked it. The next day an offer was made and Randy went to work making the deal go through. The finance department did a fantastic job to find the right loan for her needs. The day of delivery was when I met Randy for the first time. Now I'm very apprehensive when it comes to salesmen and their phoney bologny. RANDY KLATT IS GENUINELY A NICE GUY! Hard to belive, I know, but its true. He made the paperwork process quick and easy while explaining every bit of it to my wife every step of the way. Not a big deal you may think, but imagine if it was your child sitting in front of him buy their first car. For some people that could be a nerve wrecking expirience. Randy has a personality that just makes you comfortable buying from him. That Friday am we drove to P.A. right after taking delivery for a weekend trip. Later that day in P.A. we noticed a noise from the front of the car. My wife called Randy to inform him of the problem but he had left for the day. Saturday morning right at 9am when the dealership opened Randy called to find out what the problem was. He re-assured my wife that he would make things right and as long as the car was driveable(which it was), to put it out of her mind and to enjoy the weekend. He will be waiting with a loaner on Monday while the shop looked at the vehicle. My wife pulled in to the dealership and Randy met her at the door and introduced her to the service manager. They both re-assured her everything would be taken care of. I made a list of things I found that werent working properly and my wife gave that to the service manager. Randy stayed in constant contact with the service manager and relayed updates to my wife. The service dept had to order parts for repair, which took a couple of days. Randy offered to let my wife have the loaner for the entire period but the Saturn was quite driveable, so she took her vehicle until the parts came in. The issues were not dangerous conditions. Once the parts arrived RANDY called and was waiting once again at the door to meet my wife and escorted her to the service dept. He then gave her another loaner and told her that he would give her updates and he did. The service manager also contacted my wife with updates and to let her know repairs were done. Once again, it was RANDY that was waiting at the door to meet my wife when she came to pick up her vehicle. The service paperwork was documented in the itemized order that I had listed on the paper that my wife gave them when she dropped of the vehicle. I understand now why Bob Johnson Chevy is Rochesters Top Dealership. Its because of the customer service before and after the sale. But the one thing that really stands out is RANDY KLATT! He treated my wife as if she was his own daughter. Randy is a salesman that honestly really cares about his clients. Randy is our saleman from now on in. I wont go anywhere else. He really should give seminars on how to be a good salesperson, because he is the professor. If your family or friends need a vehicle, GO SEE RANDY KLATT AT BOB JOHNSON CHEVY. More

You can bring a used car back under warranty as many times as you like they won't find anything wrong as soon as the warranty expires they can find everything you complained about and now YOU have to pa times as you like they won't find anything wrong as soon as the warranty expires they can find everything you complained about and now YOU have to pay for the repairs.DO NOT BUY A USED CAR FROM THEM.I complained about the drivers door they replaced weather stripping now they say it needs bushings.We complained of a rubbing and noise in the front end TWICE they couldn't find anything now 4 months later front end bearing is gone CV shaft boot is torn the brakes are bad and the intermittent noise we complained about is constant. We have not even put 5k miles on this truck so much for the sign out front Certified Used Cars . A selling point for us was they sold this truck new and have done all the service work since then . They have lost our business forever More
I had a horrible experience while looking for a used vehicle at Bob Johnson Chevrolet. Let me first say that the reason I went there was because everyone in my family has bought cars from them and had a vehicle at Bob Johnson Chevrolet. I found a car that I wanted online and went there to test drive it. I walked around the sales department for a half hour before anyone asked me if they could help. I said that I wanted to test drive this car and Lee Patterson went with me and I LOVED it. It was a Pontiac G6 GTP. It was everything I wanted and more. In my price range (actually below it) so I put a deposit down on the car to hold it until Friday when I got my income tax return. This was on Monday and on Wednesday Lee calls me and says that they got another G6 in with all the same stuff except it wasnt a GTP and it didnt have leather seats. He asked if I wanted to come in and test drive it. So I went after I got out of work and test drove it. Came back and said that I liked it but i liked the other one better. He procedes to tell me that the other car was SOLD!!! I was like WHAT! I put a deposit down on this car and no one even bothered to call me and tell me that someone else was interested? He was like yeah I'm sorry but we moved your deposit to this car and already have it approved for you so you can take it home as soon as you have the down payment. I was appalled that they would do that and not even ask me! I even checked with my bank and on the cashed check they crossed out the 1st VIN and wrote a new one. SO they knew even before cashing the check that they weren't going to sell me the car. When I called them to get my money back (B/C there was no way I was buying a car from them) I asked Lee why no one called me and even BOTHERED to ask or explain what happened and he couldnt give me an answer! I would NEVER recommend going to Bob Johnson Chevrolet for ANY cars! Not to mention they lost ALL of my families business and that's 40+ people! More

I felt that both of them understood and respected the budget that I had to work within and at no time did I feel that they were trying to "upsell" me on anything. I have yet to use the service department, but I am hopeful that too will be a positive experience. More
