I have used this service center for over ten years and four Honda vehicles. In general I have been pleased with the service provided (mostly oil changes). I often wonder of the recommended additional se four Honda vehicles. In general I have been pleased with the service provided (mostly oil changes). I often wonder of the recommended additional services that appear each time I am presented the report/bill. I always get a second independent opinion and often receive feedback that it is the Honda standard recommended maintenance schedule and doubt the item was actually evaluated. This leads up to this downgraded rating. I recently took two Honda vehicles in for oil changes. Both vehicles had recommended additional service and some were expected but others were not. I cannot question what the technicians recommended because I am not able to see what they see /seen/observe. However I can comment with certainty that items such cabin and engine air filters were recently replaced (one case the day before) but were rated yellow and red. Wheel alignment and spark plug service replacements recently performed yet probably because the service center has no record the work was performed there (performed independently) they are still recommended. I appreciate being notified of issues that exist and need my attention. My comments are credibility of any recommendations when I suspect or know otherwise. I raise suspicion of all recommendations as just by the maintenance schedule and not necessarily the actual observed condition. When I questioned why a engine air filter was rated yellow and knowing it was replaced within the last day - I was asked if they could look at it with the technician to use as a teaching moment for a new employee who just completed the service report. I was not pleased with this revelation / request. Unfortunately I felt defensive and setback by the whole situation (how well trained was the person that just serviced the vehicle and was the service representative questioning my knowledge of the condition ). After I paid for the service and about to leave the center - the service representative presented an explanation that the report was a typo that the inexperienced service technician did not know how to correct on the computer. I certainly can understand if this is what happened but does not change the grade of my service experience. If being critical and accepting honest feedback is a Honda standard to achieve five stars rating than My rating should change next time. More

Sam is extremely polite, thorough, and helpful. I had an “ emissions system problem” light come on. The techs did an evaluation and said it was part of the fuel filling system.
