Purchased 2 cars from this dealership in the last month or 2; a 2022 Honda Civic Touring and a 2021 Honda Accord Sport. The buying process was no issue; I understood the market and made the purchase as simple as possible. Didn’t haggle and tried to make it as easy for everyone as I could. The day I purchased the accord, I noticed some spots on the carpet in the backseat. The salesman assured me it was just dirt, bring it back and he’ll have his guys clean it up for me. (Aside from that, for a brand new car, it was cleaned very poorly. There were severe window streaks and even some dead insects in the front cup holder.) But I didn’t mind, so I brought it back so they could clean those spots and kept in contact with the salesman. When I brought it back, the gentleman that was cleaning it for me mentioned to me “that’s not dirt and I don’t know why they would tell you that; it’s pretty clearly something wrong with the carpet.” So I reached out to the salesman to notify him of what happened. He advised the carpet is going to need to be changed and that’s why there’s a warranty on the car which is absolute incorrect. The warranty is for when things go wrong down the line, NOT for when a car has issues before even driving it off the lot. But he kept repeating that’s why you have a warranty; after realizing he was going to be no help I made an appointment with service. By this time my car has under 1500 miles, I notice my taillight assembly has moisture building up in it. I take it to service and let them know about the carpet and if the taillight. Received a call a few days later that once again, that wasn’t dirt on the carpet, but they had to replace the entire rear carpet. Aside from that, the taillight assembly is on back order with no ETA. So I can pickup my car and wait for the part while moisture in my taillight inevitably corrodes the bulbs and the wiring which will only cause more issues and inevitably become a safety issue, or leave the car sitting there until the part comes in, which nobody has an ETA for. From my salesman being absolutely no help aside from selling me the car and basically brushing me off after notifying him of the issues, to service trying to justify the carpet by saying “oh all of these accords have that spot”, I would not recommend this dealership to another person at all. I purchased a brand new car expecting, as would anybody, it wouldn’t have any issues for a bit more than 1500 miles but I was very mistaken. From poor Honda quality control to this dealerships lack of care, I would avoid this dealership at all costs. It’s not worth it. More
My last two Honda's CRV's have been serviced by Bill Kay Honda service center. They have done a great job servicing both of these vehicles. I have almost always had a good experience at Bill Kay for all maintenance on 2 Hondas. This last time was not so good. First I was up sold 2 filters for my CRV which I agreed to. I was told the prices bu for all maintenance on 2 Hondas. This last time was not so good. First I was up sold 2 filters for my CRV which I agreed to. I was told the prices but I believe I wasn’t told the labor cost which I would have like to have been in formed of. My oil change with a coupon and the 2 filters cost $185 which I felt was higher than it should have been. The worst part of the appointment was when I had the CRV turned back to me. I had spent part of my day beforehand scrubbing my floor mats and detailing the interior. I got it back with my floor mats really dirtied up. I complained, they cleaned them somewhat. I had already been there well over an hour and this added more time onto a very unpleasant visit. The End. More
Bought used truck after seeing advertised on line. Call BKH and talked to salesman He told me truck was still available. Drove 25 miles, inspected truck, took test drive.
