Brought my car in first thing in the AM for some minor work and was told they would call to give me an estimate before the work was done because I didn't know what exactly the problem was. No call ever c work and was told they would call to give me an estimate before the work was done because I didn't know what exactly the problem was. No call ever came. I finally called them 30 minutes before closing asking what was going on and when my car would be looked at. I also told them specifically in the AM that I'd need a ride to and from by the shuttle and wanted a call later in the day to arrange my pickup depending on when my on when my car would be ready (that call never came either). The person I finally got ahold of said they hadn't had time to finish looking at my car and that they hadn't called because they had "nothing to tell me". Then when the shuttle finally got me back there they promised me that both of the priority items had been fixed. I asked multiple times to be sure. I was asked for money and a paper was shoved in my hand and I was left to help myself out without a thank you or anything (except a reminder to rate them well on the Ford survey...ha!). I was left to find my vehicle on my own in an enormous lot (with pouring rain nonetheless) without a number or aisle or anything (walked around for awhile until I found some help). When I made it back to my vehicle it turned out that one of the problems indeed HADN'T been fixed. I went in and was told that must be totally broken and would need to be replaced (didn't you just say it was fixed?). Okay, so where is that estimate on the paperwork? Conveniently forgotten. They said they'd call in the AM with an estimate because the tech hadn't gotten him the part number yet. I snickered to myself because I happen to know that the problem hadn't even been tested yet...I can tell by looking at the part in question, it hasn't been removed and checked. <sigh>. Oh, and I complained about my door not opening all the way due to an accident and when I picked up the car was told that the tech had forced it open as far as he could to bend/dent-in the fender more so it would open. Umm, I don't recall asking for more body damage to be done to the fender. I actually said maybe a lubricant might help make it less creaky when I called. Sheesh....at least I only lost the car for a day this time, even if only one thing was legitimately fixed. All around bad experience. The only good part was the downright wonderful shuttle drivers. They were very friendly and conversant grandfather types who were nice to talk to for a little while. :) More
Purchased my 2010 Prius from this dealer in August 2010, since then nothing but issues. It all started when my TPS light came on, so I took it in and they told me it just needed air in the left tire - 40 mi since then nothing but issues. It all started when my TPS light came on, so I took it in and they told me it just needed air in the left tire - 40 minutes later I was on my way. This happened 3 times in one week with the same issue "weather-related" they said. The fourth time in the same week it came on and I finally went to NTB where they found that the seal on the TPS was worn out (on a brand new car?) and after 20 minutes and four new sensors it was fixed. Everything since has been rather odd, Hybrid light comes on every now and then but goes away, until recently while driving with some friends it came on while on the turnpike and would not go away. Fuel economy after this was 35 MPG in the city, so I took it back to the dealership and was told after leaving it with them for a day that a lever in the trunk had been removed, which is odd because I was driving down the road when this happened. They told me over the phone they could not warranty it and that it would be $187, to which I replied, you are kidding right? Dan (service advisor) told me "come on in and the service manager can work something out." BIG MISTAKE!!! I arrive and the service manager takes me to my car which is parked about 200 yards in the back of the dealership and proceeds to open the trunk, remove the carpet liner, remove the tray and pull this magical lever and voila! nothing happens… he then says "we talked to Toyota and we cannot cover this as it was not broken and someone had to have pulled this lever." My response was "right, I mysteriously did this while driving!...so can you fasten this so that it will not 'move' again?" to which he simply snickered and re-iterated that it is impossible that this could have happened. THEN…after telling him I am simply getting rid of the car and canceling the extended warranty he goes on to tell me that the water pump on "these things" goes out at 80k and it was roughly $1,000 to fix before labour. Then he puts the car back together and heads to the service dept. where he throws the Employees Only door almost off the hinges, throws my keys at the receptionist and utters "this one is ready" and proceeds to walk away…no handshake, no coffee, nothing! Bottom Line: If you like being blamed, your wallet emptied, and re-assured of Toyota's poor quality - then you came to the right place. My advice buy a Land Rover and never look back, I have one with 211,889 miles on it and have never had any issues other than maintenance!!! More
Think twice before you book any service at Bill Dube Toyota in Dover. I called Bill Dube Toyota Service Center to schedule an oil change and a tire rotation on a Friday and they had an opening for me o Toyota in Dover. I called Bill Dube Toyota Service Center to schedule an oil change and a tire rotation on a Friday and they had an opening for me on Saturday morning. I thought this was somewhat strange that they had multiple openings on a Saturday with such short notice. When I arrived at Bill Dube Toyota Service I was informed that my appointment was scheduled at the fast lane quick lube next door. I didn't call the fast lane quick lube place I called Bill Dube Toyota so I was somewhat confused. The gentleman informed me that they recently combined the two and if they are full at Bill Dube Toyota they begin filling the appointments at the fast lane quick lube. I mentioned my concern about this because I prefer to have my Toyota serviced at a Toyota dealership. I asked if they were Toyota technicians and he said "yes, well they cant do any factory work, but yes". I asked him why they didnt inform me f this over the phone when I was scheduling my appointment so I could have planned accordingly, the answer was..."we are still working out the kinks". I decided to leave my car there for the service because I had already planned my day around it. Upon my return I was given all my paper work and billing info in the Bill Dube Toyota Service Center, to make it seem like I actually got the Toyota service I deserved and scheduled for. After being given a sheet with $1,000 of work that needs to be done "very soon" I went and paid for my oil change and tire rotation. After going out to the my car I noticed that the tires didn't seem to be rotated. I looked closer for a distinct marking o one of my rims and saw that it was still on the rear drivers side rim where it always has been. This was a dead give away that they did not rotate my tires. I asked the gentleman and he confirmed with the technician that my tires were "definitely rotated, when I went back there all 4 tires were off the car". BOTTOM LINE....I paid Toyota Certified Technician prices for quick tune and lube service and paid them for a tire rotation so they could remove my tires, tell me I need $1,000 in brake work, and then put the tires back on in the same spot they removed them from. Bill Dube Toyota you should be ashamed of yourself for pulling these bait and switch tactics and charging for services you clearly didnt provide. Think twice before you bring you automobile here for any type of service, its worth the drive if there is another dealership in your area. More

This was a great experience. My husband and I (with our baby and dog!) stopped by the dealership late in the day to drive a used minivan. We were on our way north for a few days and had been shopping for baby and dog!) stopped by the dealership late in the day to drive a used minivan. We were on our way north for a few days and had been shopping for a 2009 Sienna for about a week. We arrived at the dealership, and were driving the car within 15 minutes. The price was competitive, and the staff was very very friendly. They obviously like their jobs and each other, and work hard. It does feel like a family business. We purchased the car, and will recommend this dealer to our friends looking for a Toyota. More

Went to only look at a car told them up front I could not purchase a car now but after hammering me for 4 hours and having my keys and registration I signed for a new car, Two days later I wanted to return t purchase a car now but after hammering me for 4 hours and having my keys and registration I signed for a new car, Two days later I wanted to return the vehicle and get my trade in they would not do it I felt that I had 3 business days to change the contract. When I went into the finance office it was locked behind me making more intimindations. Then the straw that broke the camels back was when I finally looked at needing to register the vehicle I noticed the price on the invoice was $500.00 more than the sticker on the window, I called and the Sales Manager said they changed it because they were not giving me as much for my trade in (which was the amount in the Kelly Blue Book) so they added it to the new car. At this point I went into Rochester Toyota and told them what I was facing and we worked out a deal for a lease car. So after 40 plus years of owning new cars I do not own one and loss a lot of money to get away from them. So if anyone is looking for Toyota I would say stay away from Bill Dube,Inc. More
